For Steam version, you can fix language resets by setting Cyberpunk2077.exe in <gamefolder>\bin\x64 to Run as Administrator in Properties, Compatibility tab. After that start the game using Steam and set the langugage incl. menu and subtitles and they won't be reset anymore. Another approach is described here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2320739178

Thank you for this, I'll look into it. If it works, the steam version will be releasing soon.

Спасибо! Сработало! Разархивированную папку поместить в папку с игрой, запустить "cyberpunk lang fix v2.exe", ожидаем когда окно патча само закроется, всё работает! У меня Cyberpunk 2077 Update v1.11-GOG.=
Thanks! It worked! Unzipped folder put in the folder with the game, run "cyberpunk lang fix v2.exe", waiting for the patch window to close
itself, everything works! I have Cyberpunk 2077 Update v1. 11-GOG

It changes the language settings so the game doesn't revert back to english every time you launch it. It doesnt change the spoken or menu language to a specific language but remembers it instead.

The correct installation guide is in the mod description, besides that, if you bought the game on steam or epic, the mod doesn't work.

There is nothing really to fix.
GoG just has 3 different language settings for some reason.

Try to use other "Language on Subtitles" inside of the game, and restart the game,  then tells me if the previous language that you change stays the same... this mod fixes that!

GOG for example in its menus doesn't support some languages, meanwhile, the game does. (Hungarian, Czech etc.) This is what the mod fixes. You cannot set Hungarian as gog menu language, therefore, you cannot set Hungarian as game language this way.

The correct file structure is in the description of the mod, it details how to install it.
The correct file structure is \Cyberpunk 2077\cyberpunk language fix v0.21" and you launch the exe found in the "cyberpunk language fix v0.21" folder

I put all files in the GOG Galaxy \ Games \ Cyberpunk 2077 folder: "Sorry, the program is not in the correct folder!"

Make sure the exe is with the original files! (in the folder named "cyberpunk language fix v0.21") There was a small issue with the mod being falsely flagged as malicious, had to change the exe to a zip. I just updated the instructions, that contains the correct information.

OMG!!! THANK YOU!!! REALLY!! this is what I was looking for!

PD: It doesn't work if you actually have the game in another base language for example "Spanish" so needs to be fully in English in order to work GG.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! With recent frequent crashes after the 1.1. hotfix the constant language switching has become rather annoying. Can this cause any problems when next update arrive?

Should not cause any problems, but the .info file resets every time you re-download, repair or update the game.
