You can now optionally add slots to the weapons of your choice! (*some limitations apply) There is now a single main file that includes a Vortex installer for easy management of your choices! If you want to change your choices at any time, just right-click the mod in the mod list and select "Re-install".
For Vortex Installation: Click on Mod Manager Download Choose your desired options in the install menu
For Manual Installation: Click on Manual Download Open the download zip file Drag the r6 folder to your root game directory All of the files for this mod should now reside at *Game Root Directory*/r6/tweaks/Any Gun Any Attachment Delete any of the .yaml files you do not want to have an effect or that are redundant
* Slot Addition Limitations: Slots can be added to all weapons, or subsets of weapons (e.g. Handguns), but cannot be added to weapon types individually (e.g. Pistols). I may work on this in the future but it would be extremely complicated.
will this mod benefit from phinix audio archive for guns that don't have a silenced sound? the audio fix works (mostly) for unlocked attachments but you offer much more customisation, so if there was also some audio fix to go with your mod, it'd be swell.
"I made a 2.0 PL version of the silencer fix. I went through each weapon type that has a silencer by default and noted the type and weapon speed. Then for each weapon that doesn't have a silencer sound by default, I made the best match selection based on its type (power pistol, tech precision rifle, etc.) and attacks per second, to closest match the silencer sound for the base game weapon most like it that has one. It might not be perfect but in my testing it was pretty good.
If you are curious here are the base weapons that have silencer sounds. The first item is the name of the weapon silencer sound (which you can tell the weapon based on this) followed by the type and speed (aps = attacks per second): Spoiler: Show
Here is the same format for the modded weapons. None of these would normally make any sound when using a silencer. This shows the weapon name, type and speed, and finally the sound that was selected for each by the mod: Spoiler: Show
for anyone looking for an alternative mod: (it should do the same as this mod, but works in newer versions) https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/9358
Is there a way to hide attachment on some weapon while maintaining the bonus they give? it would "fix" the floating part or whatnot... As I want to mod the iconic Order shotgun but well... any attachment make the whole weapon disappear, and aiming is... well not a thing anymore (just muzzle attachment make it aim through said muzzle and the scope either make aim halfway inside the hand or in the gun (I think)) so... well I guess I won't mod it for now :p
Great job! It seems that unlocked attachments could add scopes to overture revolvers, but the scope would be positioned inside the gun and so you couldn't see into it, and the gun would lift up to align the scope with you view/crosshair, resulting in it completely blocking your view. This mod actually works with the overture, however, it still exhibits this behavior with metel revolvers...
Could be I'm misremembering about unlocked attachments here, since looking through the .yaml file in this mod, it seems like it's not doing anything any differently between overture and metel revolvers.
I think this is an issue with the weapon itself. I think weapons can use any attatchments in vanilla just they don't have the slot, unistall the mod and you will see that the attatchments are still there. The problem is that, as is not intended, the scope ends inside the gun and when you try to see through the model of the weapon will be blocking your view. I think the only way to fix it is to change the game with another mod to fix the position of the scope on those weapons
Is there a mod that does that? Like, adds scope slots for weapons which lack them. I'm only asking for reference, as I haven't been messing with Cyberpunk for a while. In case anyone else runs into this issue, or I come back to this game sometime in the future.
Hey there, nothing I choose in the vortex install menu makes any difference, nothing shows ingame. Am I doing somethin wrong? I've reinstalled and redownloaded at least 3 times now :/
Edit after more than two weeks of continously fruitless attempts: I found another mod that gets the same work done just fine. I hope it's okay to link it for anyone else who like me can't get this mod to work: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/9358?tab=description (be sure to also get the "remove unremovable scopes" mod linked in the description)
