Still working awesome, with game Patch 2.12 ! \o/ ♥
EDIT (27 March 2024, 8:08PM): I just did a complete/fresh reinstall (Steam) of my game (nuked all associated old folders+files; fresh re-downloads of all the mods I use; manual installs; no REDmod mods used).
Can confirm this mod is still working hella preem with 2.12a. ♥
Randomly noticed the pants were making a weird, heavy clinking sound when walking (swapped out outfits and it was definitely them). But exiting the game and opening it again seemed to fix it.
Woohoo, still working as advertised, with current game Update 2.1 & PL!! \o/
(Standalone version) Tested with no other mods installed (aside from its dependencies and all the other core mods), and also tested with all my other mods installed--no conflicts.
If it's not working for you, then you're having a problem on your end, be it incorrect installation of this mod, or even another mod you might be using, which might be causing conflicts/errors with this mod. Double-check (all) your installations. Double-check (all) your dependencies (and any other core mods you might be using--always keep these updated to latest). Keep your game updated to current version. Keep your mods updated to latest versions--DO NOT/NEVER use any mods that are not confirmed working with 2.1+PL.
Cyber Engine Tweaks commands.
Items Looted confirmations.
New items equipped.
Inside Wardrobe screen (via Equipment-EX), E3 Tank shows up fine.
Inside Wardrobe screen (via Equipment-EX), E3 Pants shows up fine.
Inside Wardrobe screen (via Equipment-EX), E3 Boots shows up fine.
However, my own preference would be for a version of the boots that is darker and more matte, less shiny, while also making the outlines on the padding/stitching stand out less.
Since you changed the names for the archive and tweak XL files (in the new version of the mod), even after removing the old mod, it remains in Equipment EX and one is with bare foot sound and the new one with the sound fixed - this is quite annoying, as even if i save the look in wardrobe, every time i log into the game, i have to unequip and equip the boots again in order to have the footsteps sound changed.
Suggestion (that worked for me and might be a permanent fix to that) - stick with the original filename.
Thanks for your time, answer and for the mod!
EDIT: Also with the updated version of the mod, it creates double entry in Equipment EX for all 3 items and even deleting the 2nd entry, redone my outfits, saving those changes and login into the new save, the double entries are still there (one with barefoot sound and the other whit fixed sound).
I haven't experienced any issues with duplication as I kept the tweak xl item names the same. But with needing to reequip to get the sound back may be an issue with Equipment-EX.
So, deleting the old mod (as the naming are not the same anymore) and adding the new files (without even using CET to add them to the game) they already show up in my wardrobe.
Even went a bit forward ... delete the mod, delete all the items related to the mod from inventory, make a new save without any trace of them, installed the new mod and they just show up in wardrobe and using CET to add them to the game again i will have duplicates in wardrobe.
Even if i delete 1 of the duplicates, exiting and going back to wardrobe will be exact the same (as never been deleted) and one of them is with the boots sound and the other one (that was deleted) with barefoot sound.
Psiberx is already aware of this and i had a conversation with him for about 2 hours (trying new versions of Equipment Ex and Codeware and doing all sorts of tests) but with no luck.
No matter how hard we try to fix this, it did not work .. .he even tried that on my own save and still nothing that can solve the issue. We did even try to redo the outfit (deleted all my outfits and recreate them ... and after login into the new save, it still uses the barefoot sound from the files that are not present in the game anymore).
Added few pics to see that the items gets duplicated in wardrobe.
Duplicate Tank
Duplicate Pants
Duplicate Boots
As you well know, no matter how many times you loot that item, you'll have only one entry in your wardrobe ... seems that your files (something changed inside it, as Equipment EX sees it as new item - Psiberx explanation).
Psiberx is building a new Codeware that will allow users to delete all type of Clothing from Wardrobe / Equipment EX ... and he was saying that if that does not work, its defiantly something wrong with your last build.
We manage to somehow sort the issue of double entry with a new version of Codeware and Equipment EX (thanks god for Psiberx patience with all this), but one problem still remains ... (footsteps sounds) ... i have to select another outfit and go back to the one that uses your E3 Clothes in order to have the proper sound and not the barefoot one ... still, something, somewhere is wrong and here i am not talking only about your footwear as it seems that others have it to (for whatever reason - i have the same sound problem with another pair of heels - Corpo Platfrom High Heels), but only these two, all others woks like a charm.
What we did, modded the save and deleted all the trace of your mod, deleted all the entries form wardrobe and all the outfits and created a new save. Loaded the modded save and added your mod and created a new outfit (based on the old one) and created another save and exit the game. Start the game and use the last save -> straight barefoot sound, swap the outfits (odd enough the both outfits have the same boots - yours ones - goes back to normal boots sound). So, for whatever reason, they need to be reequipped every time in order to have the sound that should have.
We don't have any more ideas than this, if you have some ... i am more than happy to try them.
There are 9 of them so far (we are keep testing tho - but still at miss), the ones that have sound and somehow persist trough save/reload and start game (i mean the sound that they should have) 7-8 times out of 10, but yours and Corpo Platform High Heels are 0 out of 10 (they don't maintain the sound after save reload or start game)
The so-working ones are (what we manage to test so far):
Latex Thigh Boots Black - Hyst Sandals Glam - Hyst Leather Punk Boots - Alvarix Rock Boots - Cubfan82 Knee-High Boots - Cubfan82 High Heel Pants - Cubfan82 Stiletto Platform Heels - ErenN77 Ziva Curvy Sandals - Apzurv Classy High Heels - wanderingaldecaldo
Yea, The author has to add the sound for them in the mod, for the sound to work and you have to equip them, make a new save, exit the game and load the newly made save to make them work or you can use this mod Footstep Sound Replacer It seems that this is an issue for most of the modded shoes (there are exceptions where the sound for certain shoes works - but that is another story).
hello, I would like to see any compatibility on some of the Bodies, like Hyst, Valentine etc. that would be amazing to see. if you know how to do it that is

Working for me just fine, thanks.

Unless the wardrobe system references more than just the IDs. Since this mod was remade, the entity and appearance names also changed.
Don't know what else it could be.
Try removing:
- !append Quality.IconicItem
And see if that changes anything.

I'll be back with any update that i might have.

You mentioned that for some footwear, the sounds remained. What were they?
And thanks again.
What footwear was working?

Thanks!
Instead of unequipping when the save loads; you can reload the same save and the sounds come back.
Changing boots or reloading a save really helps get the sound back to normal.
It seems that this is an issue for most of the modded shoes (there are exceptions where the sound for certain shoes works - but that is another story).
Happy Gaming !
