Yes, it does. The replacement intro can only be as long as the default one. I haven't really looked into extending it, but I've heard it's a pain in the ass. The trailer actually cuts out a little later, but I edited the video so it doesn't cut out mid-sentence.
I have the latest version installed. I still have the Good Morning Night city subtitle crawl going. Does this mean I need to disable subtitles in settings?
No, the mod removes those subtitles entirely. You might have another mod that improperly edits in-game text (i.e., doesn't use ArchiveXL), not sure why it wouldn't work otherwise.
Bug Report: I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I am not getting any sound. I am seeing the video of the E3 trailer, but no audio whatsoever, not even the original vanilla game intro. I have no idea what is causing this. While there is no installation instructions in the "Description" tab, I installed it directly into the "Mod" subfolder, of the "Archive" folder, as per all .archive files.
Looks like author did this mod before 2.1 patch... And this patch edited audio files, as well as this mod (also any other which changes audio) So its must be updated :)
This mod was indeed made for 2.02, so if 2.1 introduced any changes to audio files as you say, then it explains why it wouldn't work. I will start working on a fix shortly :)
Report: I can confirm that the 2.1 version now has audio that plays with the video.
Critique: This is, for the most part, the intro movie replacer I have been looking for. My only criticism I have regarding this mod, is that the video ended too soon, leaving a span of a few seconds where the screen was black and no music. I was about to alt+tab out, and close the game, but the Main Menu appeared shortly before I touched my keyboard.
Recommendation: If the mod author is capable, has the skill, and/or has the video editing software, I would recommend adding two or three seconds of additional footage and music to where the current into movie finishes. This would fill in that gap. I am unsure what footage would best suit this gap, as I have not watched this specific E3 trailer in a while.
So I would add to my comment under Kantorock's message : The mod seems to break audio on the intro sequence when launching the game but also in the game as well. Specifically the car sounds as it begins to accelerate (or deceleration near 10/mph) seem to create audio fry and tone down other ambient sounds. Weird.

Does this have to do with the official length of the original intro video or am I bugging?
Uninstalled that and the issue has been solved.

Highly likely that the "E3 Cyberpunk" would feel the same as today's version.
