Changelogs
Version 1.3.2
Fixed the source of a reported compilation error. Somehow I wasn't getting it on my end but it should be fixed now regardless.
Version 1.3.1
Added an option "UsePassiveAbilities" to the file "GorillaGripModule" that will switch this mod's effects from being active only when Gorilla Arms are active to whenever they're equipped(Pre-1.3.0). By default, it's set to false.
Removed Archive-XL as a requirement. Localization & translation will now be handled by KingCode. You'll need to update that as well or things will break. Due to this change, I've removed the Translation Sources file & uploaded an alternative Translation Template file with easy instructions for anyone looking to translate the mod's text themselves.
Re-uploaded the archive with correct "GorillaGripModule" file.(2/21/24 11 AM EST) You should now see the "UsePassiveAbilities" option.
Re-uploaded the archive again.(2/21/24 12.37 PM EST) Multiple files didn't update properly before. Double checked & everything appears to be current now.
Version 1.3.0
Gorilla Arms now only apply their related effects/bonuses when Gorilla Arms are active.
Version 1.2.0
This update requires a new dependency which means a special install as well. Delete the 'r6\scripts\GorillaGrip" folder first, then install the update. Be sure to install KingCode as well or things will stop working for sure.
Gorilla arms now grant bonuses to melee weapons & throwable weapons(knives) as well.
While Gorilla Arms are equipped, the armor penetration of all melee weapons increases to 100%. This effect is shared across all rarities.
While Gorilla Arms are equipped, the thrown weapon weapons gain the ability to pass through some targets & materials. This effect is shared across all rarities.
While Gorilla Arms are equipped, the thrown weapon weapons gain "Effective Range" based on your arms' rarity. As Effective Range increases, damage reduction effectively decreases making you deal more damage from greater distances.
Version 1.1.0
Added recoil prevention as well, though it's limited to weapon kickback specifically. Other aspects of recoil still apply.
