Game v2.12 with the CET 1.31.3 minimum supported

Welcome back, my dear Skippy!

Do you miss Skippy, our quirky "little friend"?
Regina handed you the gun, but without the AI, it's just another dull piece of iron.
Now, you can bring it back to life!

How it works:

Take Skippy to Wilson and purchase anything to miraculously reactivate it.
Once reactivated, enjoy Skippy companion :)

There are three mandatory requirements to make it work:
RadioExt
RED4ext
Cyber Engine Tweaks
Fortunately, these are standard requirements for many mods.

This mod does not alter any game quest logic or the properties of the Skippy smartgun.
It only activates once you complete the Skippy quest and receive the smartgun from Regina, following the new quest logic introduced in game version 2.

Multilanguage support:

As Skippy voiceover language set is limited in the game, unsupported languages will play default English voiceovers.
The mod UI supports translations. Currently English and Polish are included. All other languages will show default English text.

Compatibility info:

Game v2.02 and 2.1 - 2.1+
Designed to deactivate itself on previous game versions.

Red4Ext and Cyber Engine Tweaks: the latest releases for the supported game versions.
Please note that both are highly dependent on the game version, you should pick the requirements versions that match your installed game version.

CET 1.29.0 is not supported due to numerous issues in this version.
CET 1.30.0 is not supported due to issues in this version.
CET 1.31.0 - 1.31.2 are not supported due to issues in this version.
CET 1.32.0 is not supported due to issues in this version.

Compatibility rules:

This mod follows the game's design and relies heavily on the game mechanics and built-in model definition fundamentals.
If you use it alongside other mods that alter the game's built-in fundamentals, the results may vary and depend on the changes made by those other mods.
If you use mods changing the game design or circumventing the game methods to make it behave differently or mods disrespecting shared resources use rules, and you'll find the final results unacceptable or falling short of your expectations, there is nothing I can do about it as the game compatibility is affected by the other mods.

Issue reporting:

Please note this mod has not been fully tested against a full game playthrough, so there may be some undiscovered bugs to address.

If you experience some unexpected mod functionality on the supported game and CET versions, please first verify it without any other mod before reporting.
The mods that may affect this one functionality typically are (though not limited to):
  • CET scripting platform disabled due to versions mismatch or misconfiguration,
  • archive type mod files in the \Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod folder.
  • redscript type mod files in the \Cyberpunk 2077\r6\scripts folder.
  • CET type mod files in the \Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods folder.
  • REDmod type files in the \Cyberpunk 2077\mods folder.

Install or update:

manual (recommended) - drop extracted folders into your game folder. Allow to overwrite files if asked.

automatic - use Vortex manager. Please note it may sometimes not work properly due to the Vortex issues. In case of issues please install it manually.

Uninstall:

automatic - use Vortex manager if it was installed by Vortex.

manual - remove the folder:

...\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\my_dear_skippy
