I was checking posts both here and in your Optimised Vanilla LUT just to see if I can install both LUT and have no issues, probably a dumb question because LUTs are changes on the in-game values so having both mods will make one override the other, but hey, can't hurt to ask :D
I processed the SDR and HDR Luts individually, using the same method. CDPR has already done a good job with the Luts. I created a new project in Photoshop, added my screenshots, then set the project to 32bit color space. Then I edited everything until it was good and I was happy. Then I opened the HDR Lut (I used the embedded color profile when opening it) and inserted it into the project (under the editing layers). I hide all the screenshots until only the Lut was visible and then I merged all the layers. I then copied the edited Lut back into the original Lut, exported it with the NVTT as .dds 32bit Float and HQ and pasted it into the game. The same step again with the SDR lut.
Great job indeed! May I suggest you to write down a simple and detailed guide to how edit LUTS? Your explaination is great, but there are some small missing info. Due to lack of guides around, adding a step-by-step guide would be great! I suffer of a small kind of daltonism so I miss some colors :/ tried to edit LUTS many times to fix my issue but I always ended with overexposed images :(
If images are overexposed, it helps to add an exposure layer at the top of the editing process (editing layers) in Photoshop. If the light and therefore the final result are overexposed, simply turn down the exposure a little. If you turn down the exposure by say 0.05, you have to turn down the gamma value by 0.01-0.015. Otherwise dark areas in the game will become too dark (black values). :)
In Photoshop, red and green faintness can be simulated with the proof. You can select deuteranopia (green blindness) and protanopia (red blindness) via View → Set up proof → Color blindness. Use View → Color proof to set the color proof on or off and check your images.
I personally don't like how blue the shadows become with this mod. Being in a mostly shadowed area makes the game look like it's got a heavy blue overlay, and individual shadows in sunlit areas look more like strips of blue paint.
That said, I love everything else about this mod. It's crisp, clean, and dazzling. The image POPS with this mod. I just wish the shadows weren't so blue.
In the original, the shadows have a dark cyan tone, at least in Dogtown. Then a blue tone is better. Unfortunately I only have the possibility to change it via a Lut, to change it properly I would need a real level editor with which I can really change and customize everything. :)
It's cool, just personal preference anyway. I'll still be using your mod, it's great. I just use Nvidia's GEForce overlay to change up the blues a bit. :)
The gamma value I used for this mod is 1.00 in CP2077. If the gamma value is set too high (in CP2077), everything becomes darker and the colors become stronger. I'll see if I can make another version of the mod with less blue in the shadows. Until then have fun. :)
In the images of Lizzie's bar, is the first image (less bright, esp towards the peripheries) the Vibrant LUT version? You might consider adding some labels just to make it clear what is before/after
This is by far the best visual mod I've used since Cyberpunk came out. Voted and endorsed.
There are maybe one or two heavy reshade mods out there which would outclass this visually, but those mean taking a significant drop in frames per second (10-20fps). As far as I can tell Vibrant is causing zero loss of frames, while giving a huge boost in the visual department.
Same reason I stopped using reshade. I don't even pay them attention anymore, I couldn't justify using it. Not that it kills the experience but if I'm going to sacrifice 10-20fps I'd rather load up on tons more scripts and other mods to pay that price. LUT's like this are perfect because they just change color values already used in the game, zero performance impact while basically doing pretty much what reshade can accomplish.
is this work with vanilla plus ? if not can you make the Neon LUT look like Vanilla Plus bcuz the main game neon look so white and weird. Love your mod btw.

how was your workflow for this LUT? Do you create at first the HDR-LUT and then downgrade from that to have an SDR-LUT?
Sorry for my English.
