i can confirm that using this mod with ''pspromt-463-1-1-1644952837'' is causing the computer panel no exit button , please fix if you don't mind , i really need this ?
Did yous just change the "OpenPauseMenu_Button" and the "OpenHubMenu_Button"? I have tried changing both by just editing the mapping myself and found it did not change a thing. I then tried to copy and paste from just under the UI Fullscreen Menu toggles down to the last line of the "OpenMapMenu_Button" and still nothing was changing. I've changed some things around in the xml file before wit ease, but now it just seems like the game is not reading that xml file. I am editing the one in the r6 config folder. The buttons are slowly driving me crazy.
ik its not in this mod but is it possible to make the enter and exit vehicle button the same for controller. makes no sense to me and drives me crazy. i tried to change the exit vehicle to X but that just made it so i cant exit the vehicle lol.
Sorry to bother you, but I would like to know if you could create a mod that forces Dualshock button prompts even if using the Xbox controller, by using a similar method. Thanks in advance!
Sorry, I can not do this. I only modified the existing input XML.
If CDPR didnĀ“t implement this directly I think the only way to get them would be to switch the textures for the button symbols. This is beyond what I can do.
I'm just curious if this will work people using a DualShock 4 via DS4Windows? Because from my understanding the PC still reads inputs as an Xbox controller.
Why are you using DS4Windows? This game just like The Witcher 3 and many many other games has native controller support for the PS4 controller. Just plug and play and you'll get the correct icons. Shame people still don't seem to realize many many games natively support the PS4 controller.
Native support isn't the issue being addressed by this mod. For some reason CDPR switched the traditional functions of the menu and pause buttons, this mod reverses them to where they should be.

I did an optional file though with a toggle instead of holding the button for scanning. Maybe that is interesting to you, too?
