If you want an absurd amount of NPCs on the screen, like in 2018, use this mod combined with the my

    CDPR's Astonishing Crowd Density

Why is the extra folder in this?
If the folder structure was just  archive\pc\mod instead of Unused Appearances2018\archive\pc\mod it could just be extracted into the main Cyberpunk 2077 directory to install

I've used vortex up until now and since I've never done a manual installation before I only just now noticed.

Came to this page to figure out why I just saw multiple groups of 2-4 clones in the same area.  I've gone ahead and just manually dropped the archive in the proper folder.  Thanks for pointing this out!

Didnt notice a diffence, still clones everywhere i turn, yes im playing high density.

Cant believe CDPR fixed soo much in this game but forgot the most simplest of things, an algoritm to avoid spawning in the same npcs.

Wished this mod had worked for me, but sadly it didnt, might have added more options, but the fault is in CDPRs horrible programmers, not this modders valiant attempt to solve their screwup

sorry to say it, but if u get alot doubles its more likely a problem on ur end, i play high density and barely ever see doubles round town. either ur comp isnt able to handle the amount of npcs u try to play with (in which case i guess it just uses already loaded NPC templates instead of loading more), or u have some settings messed up. either way, sounds like a "u" problem sadly

Check out the Performance Feature Toggle mod. One of the options lets you set how many NPCs of the same type the game is allowed to spawn at one time.

Just tried it and I'm not sure if it is tied to time of day or area of town but comparing it with the same save had more NPCs spawn in vanilla and far less clones...kept seeing the same model over and over with the mod on and far fewer NPCs overall as I ran around downtown at night. It doesn't seem to be working as intended despite what you say.

I've found zero conflicts ever on this mod, even with NPC focused mods. These characters were already in the game, just disabled, so it's unlikely there even could be an incompatibility of that type.
