im not downloading and using this mod just because it's not my cup of tea so to speak. but i was looking at it and the posts and just wanted to say W mod creator for actively talking to and helping users with their bugs. <3 i will endorse when the 15 minutes is up fs
After testing multiple times the mask won't get unequipped on its own unless I do something, smoking a cig on Idle Anywhere for example. Not sure what couild cause it. I'm using Equipment-Ex with a custom item. Auto equipt work as intended, just the unequip part is not working automatically for now (:
The issue seems to be how the game handles (un)equipping items. The unequip is slightly delayed and the game reports the weapon as being drawn if it's sheathed mid-animation. As a result, the mask is never unequipped. I assume there are other similar cases related to drawing a weapon.
If I can't fix this, I will limit the mod to only put the mask on in combat and in hostile zones.
I implemented a temporary fix with the latest update while I work on something more permanent.
You may be able to find a solution with Limited Hud. The creator has settings for hiding and unhiding HUD elements based on being In Combat or Out of Combat.
Yoo! Good job Chooms! I use the helmet mod all the time now and I can't believe how fast you turned the comment on that into this mod. Are you able to put the example pictures for this mod up like you did for the helmet mod?

Omg. Its like you are reading my mind for roleplay I would always do this before coming down on enemies. SO nice that its automatic now. I hope it works with PT masks!

but why? you can't see your character so i don't see the point.
