If the mod does not work, please create a private bug report (not public because I need log files) within the Bugs section of this mod, and send the following log files: red4ext\logs\cp77rpc2.log red4ext\logs\red4ext.log r6\logs\redscript* (the last one created by redscript) bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\CP77RPC2\CP77RPC2.log And a screenshot of the Debug menu within the CET UI of this mod. PLEASE be active within that report, otherwise I may close it at will.
This mod is also hosted on GitHub at Marco4413/CP77-DiscordRPC2. If you'd like to contribute with your own features, you're welcome to send pull requests. PRs about additional translations will be rejected because it would be a nightmare for me to maintain. HOWEVER, you can follow the instructions in the "Adding Translations" section to create a translation mod!
not sure if you may or may not see this or have already been asked this before but would it might be possible to somehow have a feature that shows wanted level status if you ever get in combat with the Ncpd or MaxTac ?
I'll look into it, however the combat status is already cluttered enough with info, so I don't know how useful it may be. Thanks for the suggestion though
Very nice mod, I did notice 2 things one is that the vehicle speed is way off when going high speeds (300kmh for example) it will just show under 200kmh (and yes I have it set to kmh in settings) and the other is that for some reason the lifestyle isnt showing
Isn't changing the unit shown in vehicles a modded thing (MPH to KMH Mod, people are also reporting conversion issues in the posts tab)? I couldn't find the setting to do that when I was testing that feature. Though I'm pretty sure the value is right, I was converting the speed I was seeing in the vehicle to km/h and it wasn't that much off.
EDIT: Can confirm the thing about the speed. I'll look into it. Though I won't promise anything because it's such a minor issue. EDIT2: Thanks to the help from the Cyberpunk 2077 Modding Discord I managed to find a fix. Turns out the game does not show the actual speed of the vehicle, it does some maths to make it feel like (by looking at the UI) that you're going faster than you actually are.
Are you hovering over the small image shown in the activity? It should work. If not, please send a screenshot. If you're using a different translation (other than the ones included with the mod) it may be an issue with that.
EDIT: While looking at a way of translating the life path, I've noticed the game calls the Corpo path "Corporate" which explains a lot of things. If you're playing as corpo you'll see it fixed even if you don't update the mod. I just have to update the Discord Application for it.
The Final Edit: Both issues should be fixed in the latest version (2.7.4)
That's odd... The Russian translation seems to have no issues with that (I'm looking at the screenshots the author posted on the mod's page). Can you send a screenshot of the UI?
Are they actually localized for each language (within the game)? If so I've never noticed that, please let me know.
I think the font CET is using for the UI does not have Polish characters (although that's kinda weird) I can't think of anything else that could cause that. As for the localized life paths, I'll look into it.
EDIT: You can now localize life paths (as of version 2.7.4)
The example for translation was not very clear, especially if you try to compare how the Italian translation works. So I changed init.lua a bit so that it use a separate file instead of taking everything from a local variable for my ru translation
First of all, thanks for contributing a translation! Secondly, the example is like that because I wanted to make it as simple and straight forward as possible. So I avoided the usage of "require". The example only requires (pun not intended) basic knowledge about JSON or other data format languages, which if you're a mod translator, you're very likely to know. Moreover, the italian translation is like that because it's part of the main mod, so it only needs the translated text. Again, thank you for the translation
It's okay, I understand why you did that. But wasn't it easier in the main mod to sort through the locales folder? This would make everything even easier for translators.
You can't list files through Lua for security reasons (you can't even write files to other disks, it used to work a while ago). I'd have to create C++ bindings through RED4ext, and I don't want to add something that could be exploited by other modders to access arbitrary user files. I could try to sandbox the function but it's just not worth the effort.
EDIT: I've recently added a translation template (within the Files tab), if you've got time I'd like to have your feedback on it!
I checked your template and I don't even have anything to add - everything is great, it will definitely simplify all the work for translators. Thanks choom
Can you send me screenshots of the mod's UI? I can't help you if you don't send me anything that I can look into. I shouldn't even be asking this: are you sure you didn't turn on/off settings from Discord's Activity Privacy or other activity-related settings?
You were wrong. You did help me. I had turned off the activity display settings. Thank you. I'm clearly an ancient idiot. (not being sarcastic, genuine thanks.)
I've given a quick look at the source of RadioEXT, and it's not well documented (at least the other mods integration part) so I'll have to do some more digging in the future. I'll keep this suggestion in mind but I don't have an ETA for it.
EDIT: It was way simpler than I imagined. The updated files are already live on GitHub. You can download them at Marco4413/CP77-DiscordRPC2 then extract "src/cet" into "Cyberpunk2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\CP77RPC2" and replace if asked. It'll be included in the next update. However, the next release may be next month and I'd also like to have your feedback on it first!

Could you add life paths to translation?

good mod btw, thanks
