Unfortunately there will not be a 2.02 version, because I can't get the changes to work at all with 2.02; not even to the same level as the 2.01 version was working. With RedEngine being discontinued and few people making mods that involve the questphase files there is a shortage of good info and lack of long term motivation to figure out what was supposed to be a quick "change the number in a script" mod.
I'll keep this mod up for anyone using the 2.01 version of Cyberpunk, for anyone on 2.02 you're going to have to just ignore El Capitan's complaints and not worry about the slightly reduced rewards.
The worst part of the delivery task is not a direct time limited task, but a time limited task interspersed along the way. The time limit is very strict, and if you want to attack the enemy, you have to deliver it to the place within a time limit
Still on 2.01 and the mod doesn't work, still have timer. I had a car delivery with enemies attack + timer + NCPD after me cuz I killed my enemies ( WTF) ... I don't want this anymore. F*ck you El capitan. XD
I got to the point where I would purposefully blow up the car if Muagonk added a timer mid delivery. Just instantly get outta the car. Charge up my projectile. Unleash until car blows up. Then Muagonk rage texts me XD
This patch changes the vehicle timers, so I suggest removing this mod if you update to 2.02.
I'll produce a 2.02 version of the mod shortly, assuming there are no unexpected issues with the update & major frameworks mods.
Edit: first attempt at a 2.02 version didn't work at all, but at least the 2.02 timers are generous. Will update once I have a (at least mostly) working version.
Thank you. Aside from the very first mission, ALL of them were timed for me.. it was pretty stupid. Will still get one, but its rare now which is what I prefer anyway.
had your mod plugged in since the start of this new play through. Took alot of car snatches (17 to be precise), but a timer finally popped. But, it didn't pop up until I was about a kilometer away from the garage and the timer was set at 1:05 to deliver.
Did you get out of the car at all once the delivery mission started? I finally managed to reproduce getting a timer with the mod installed, and it was after I got out of the car to break the call with Muamar so I could use my magic hacking powers one enemy vehicles.
That's really great. The time limit in version 2.01 is too foolish, the driving system is poor, the time limit is strict, and the experience is very poor. This MOD saved my gaming experience
The time limit is strict at best. Many times, it is literally impossible. It's like they chose these timers based on a straight line in a drag car. I wouldn't complain if I was cutting it close on some timers, but when I haul ass and make no mistakes and the timer runs out when I still have 1km to go? Yeah that's a scuffed timer.
Add in that enemies can still randomly appear while you are currently on a timer and it just makes for the worst experience I've encountered so far in 2.0/PL.
