Not a bug, this is an issue of compatibility and so I will post it here.
Using Aanderz's "ARASAKA CYBERARMS" mod, with fomod option "no nails on right arm" and with the right arm option being "Arasaka thin". Using Aanderz's "Cyberarms Patch" mod.
With these parameters and without this mod, nails do indeed not show up on the right arm, which in this case is a cyber arm and so nails look strange on it. With This mod installed nails instead show on the right hand again.
I suspect the culprit could be these two scenarios. 1. Aanderz's mod is trying to refer to a specific nail to remove but as the file has been changed via your mod, his mod is then unable to recognize the new file. 2. Aanderz's mod first removes the nails in a lower order of load, your mod then re-adds the nails as it loads it's custom nail file later in the load order.
Thanks for your time if you read this, would love a patch of sorts since I love both mods!
Did some more testing, with default arms ie, no arm cyberware, but with cyberarms through "ARASAKA CYBERARMS" mod this issue exists.
However, if i get gorilla arm cyberware and i have the fomod options "no nails on right arm" and with the right arm option being "Arasaka thin" on gorilla arms, so same setup as with no arm cyberware, i do not get nails on the cyberware arm, but instead the nails on the default arm does not change in length accordingly and stays vanilla length.
Don't know how much this helps, but i thought it would be worth pointing out how the results change depending on if arm cyberware is equipped or not.
old post ik, but u can make them easily work with arasaka cyberarms by adding "zz" (or whatever that makes nails load after nail remover "aa_Remove_Nails_F_R.archive" form arasaka cyberarms) to the name of the nails archive so it looks something like this "zzNailMorphs03.archive" and ofc u need to have nail remover form the arasaka arms for the hand you don't want no nails, for example: i have right hand arasaka, so i use nail remover for the right hand.
i know that you have said that it is a known issue that the mantis blades use the vanilla nails rather than the modded ones, but i was wondering if there was a way to fix that? or if you were planning on trying to fix that?
regardless, this is a great mod that has worked beautifully for me otherwise!!
I tried the 1.5 nail and works perfectly, works perfectly with the Sailor Moon Nail mod too and I'm really happy for that, thx for making this mod °^° ^_^
Thanks for this mod, it actually *almost* fixes the vanilla clipping problem with nails on V's left hand when you have the monowire equipped, which has annoyed me since launch. Would it be possible to get your custom morph but just as the vanilla length so you can have the option to use it as just a fix for this issue with no other changes? Great job with this, fixing another issue CDPR never got around to lol

GL, hopefully it's a simple quick fix that spares you some time.

I'd love the possibility to also change the nails' shape to something more square or coffin like.
Thanks.
Thx!!
