The other mod has a great number of differences. Each texture is individually enhanced on my other mod which makes it look quite different (but better) than vanilla. The mod will work with this mod as this mod will focus on enhancing all the characters, while the other one is just the main four. TLDR: I recommend installing both (not now but when the other project adds more NPC's) so you get all the NPC's from PL, and better textures :)
Hi there!, Thanks for the amazing job! Just one question, this mod is compatible with High Quality NPC project and Panam Body Enhanced? Should I give it more priority?
this mod isnt for you then, as anyone who actually would use this mod with its benefits would need a good computer to fully maximize the games potential.
Exactly. Who plays this game in 8K or 4K native? Everyone else needs 2K.
And it's inaccurate that doubling the resolution wouldn't make a difference. In fact, you can stick to the same resolution and still add more detail if the original texture lacks it. Not the case with the main characters, obviously, but it's impossible to add 4x detail without a complete remodel of the characters, so 2x is always the best compromise, which means 2k here.
Am I right in thinking these retextures make fairly noticeable changes from vanilla across the board? I read stuff about removing scrapes from Johnny's face and removing the scar on Vik's chin, but I don't know if those are the only "big" changes or if everyone got similar treatment. Thanks!
easy for me to say that these are better but it comes down to personal preforance, as far as im aware his are just upscaled while mine are manually tweaked to get rid of ugly stuff in the textures as well as upscaling ALL textures, not just the diffuse texture! Try them both out and see which one you like more. This is an AIO so you don't have to install each character one by one and just install one large file containing all characters! Thanks for stopping by.
Thx for the response :-) I'm currently using them and they are good as far as I can tell. (I do experience the bug reported in the PL version of the mod, but you will find my comment there.)
Not something I have the potential of doing right now as this is my first mod and I couldn't find the feet mesh, however the feet textures ARE upscaled :)
just a reminder any mod that DOES improve character LOD's is compatible with this one just as long as you set it as high priority (read description on how to do that)
Characters LOD, level of detail? I thought lod is for distance object detail, I come from Bethesda mod community and I call it character 3D model or body/mesh. So if your mod just retexture, other mod that edits the mesh could be compatible, but if they change the body mesh quite a bit, the skin UV might not match or line up and cause stretching. So far, it seems to me that most body mods only effect the player. So new body mods is fine, but new body mods that sepcifically replace npc might not look as good.
Thing with bodies, is you either pick vanilla (base game body) or use a custom one and make textures for it, you can only support one or a few that has very similar UV mapping.
I am a video editor / animator and LOD means Level of Detail, usually models have a low LOD and to get it up you just subdivide the mesh, I can do it myself easily but since its already been done I don't really see a point. Maybe ill increase the mesh geometry on the optional files (johnny and rogue) when I have the time :)

It's clear you took personal time to refine them.
Haven't experienced them all, but really loved the look of Rogue -- not too young, but just updated and refined enough to ADD character to her.
Amazing work friend! Well worth the long download times (haha).
And is this mod compatible with this one? https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4843
