The other mod has a great number of differences. Each texture is individually enhanced on my other mod which makes it look quite different (but better) than vanilla. The mod will work with this mod as this mod will focus on enhancing all the characters, while the other one is just the main four. TLDR: I recommend installing both (not now but when the other project adds more NPC's) so you get all the NPC's from PL, and better textures :)

Game updates won't change the status of this mod, meaning that it should work through any update, but if it does I will update the same day!

Hi there!, Thanks for the amazing job! Just one question, this mod is compatible with High Quality NPC project and Panam Body Enhanced? Should I give it more priority?

give this mod higher priority over high quality NPC project, while all other mods should be higher than my mods.

Am I right in thinking these retextures make fairly noticeable changes from vanilla across the board? I read stuff about removing scrapes from Johnny's face and removing the scar on Vik's chin, but I don't know if those are the only "big" changes or if everyone got similar treatment. Thanks!

Any idea on how this mod compares to the character upscales by XilaMonstrr?

easy for me to say that these are better but it comes down to personal preforance, as far as im aware his are just upscaled while mine are manually tweaked to get rid of ugly stuff in the textures as well as upscaling ALL textures, not just the diffuse texture! Try them both out and see which one you like more. This is an AIO so you don't have to install each character one by one and just install one large file containing all characters! Thanks for stopping by.

Thx for the response :-) I'm currently using them and they are good as far as I can tell. (I do experience the bug reported in the PL version of the mod, but you will find my comment there.)

you don't need a 2k version, base game textures are literally 1k and doubling it won't do anything since the game upscales it itself.

Well too bad. cuz I'm lagging very badly when installing the texture, the lag gone when I remove your mod though

this mod isnt for you then, as anyone who actually would use this mod with its benefits would need a good computer to fully maximize the games potential.

Just wanted to stop by and say so far -- these are great!

It's clear you took personal time to refine them.

Haven't experienced them all, but really loved the look of Rogue -- not too young, but just updated and refined enough to ADD character to her.

Amazing work friend! Well worth the long download times (haha).

None of the files conflict with eachother, but I made all the parts there so there is little confusion

Would you consider giving the npc better looking feet aswell from popular body mods? The vanilla feet are quite low poly and look pretty bad.

Not something I have the potential of doing right now as this is my first mod and I couldn't find the feet mesh, however the feet textures ARE upscaled :)

No worries, someone made body replacer for certain npc, I can look there and see if I can track the feet mesh down to replace.

just a reminder any mod that DOES improve character LOD's is compatible with this one just as long as you set it as high priority (read description on how to do that)

Characters LOD, level of detail? I thought lod is for distance object detail, I come from Bethesda mod community and I call it character 3D model or body/mesh. So if your mod just retexture, other mod that edits the mesh could be compatible, but if they change the body mesh quite a bit, the skin UV might not match or line up and cause stretching. So far, it seems to me that most body mods only effect the player. So new body mods is fine, but new body mods that sepcifically replace npc might not look as good.

Thing with bodies, is you either pick vanilla (base game body) or use a custom one and make textures for it, you can only support one or a few that has very similar UV mapping.

I am a video editor / animator and LOD means Level of Detail, usually models have a low LOD and to get it up you just subdivide the mesh, I can do it myself easily but since its already been done I don't really see a point. Maybe ill increase the mesh geometry on the optional files (johnny and rogue) when I have the time :)

Also im pretty sure the mods that do change the LOD shouldn't effect textures in any way as UV's remain the same just the mesh is subdivided.

Hey, I found a mod that improves the npc model with higher poly. https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/9054?tab=description I haven't tested it, but screenshots looks better than what is in game.

YEP! I use that personally. Just set my mod as high priority by adding a ! to the start of it.

Is there any way to prioritize Johnny's 8K retexture over other Johnny overhauls? I'm using the Project 2020 mod by ErebusEquity which changes Johnny's facial appearance with hair options. I'm getting some conflicts and the skin tones aren't matching. Base game works fine but ran into this problem after installing the 8k texture archive. My mods are manually installed and I don't have any OTHER mods that modify Johnny's textures.

Amazing mod, I just finished up the collection with the PL enhancements and I'm so ready to see these beautiful folks again :')

      Yep! just read the description.

      TLDR:
make this file higher priority in load order over all other mods by adding a ! in front of it in the archive folder

I think I got it working with the filename priority change like right after I originally made the comment lol. Johnny also has a natural, slightly more tan face that was exaggerated when under certain lighting so it was either my eye at the time seeing something that wasn't there or the priority change got rid of a seam. Everything looks amazing, thanks for getting to my comment!
