Changelogs
Version 0.7
The Priest and Physician legacy jobs, along with the Detective until he gets suspended, are "vocations" and will prevent you from finding stable positions (but you can temp, tutor, do manual labour, etc...)
Your position gains the "tainted" aspect when you become the object of office gossip, no changes in mechanics for the office job except for more transparency.
Teaching positions can become tainted as well, so you'll have to be more mindful of your reputation in that case as well.
You can look for a teaching position with lvl 1 scholarship, making working with lvl 1 scholarship less useless (you'll still need lvl 3 for a promotion).
Version 0.6
Entry-level clerical and teaching positions now have a 30 seconds "grace" period after their cooldown during which you can beg for your job back. Dignity doesn't pay the rent.
Teaching no longer gives peculiar rumours but gives contentment a bit more frequently.
Writing for the newspapers pays a bit better - on par with unskilled labour or tutoring with lvl 3+ ability.
"Silent" bug fix: there was an extra comma in one json file that, for some reason, didn't set off an error message on my computer (but might on others), it should be fixed now.
Version 0.5
Bug fix: literature was not available with lvl 2 scholarship, should work fine now.
Teaching positions now warn you (in the flavour text) if it's your last chance.
When getting a new position, you now automatically resign from your previous one. This only applies to office and teaching jobs and doesn't occur when doing any of the "freelance" or dancing jobs.
Engaging in crime with maxed out strength will sometimes give you no loot or notoriety but reveal the location of an exposed warehouse (i.e. forgotten reach), time for the petty thief to turn gang leader.
Version 0.4
Working with imagination now allows you to write (in addition to painting), either for a newspaper (at lvl 1+) or literature (at lvl 2+). WIP, but: writing for the papers will keep you alive and let you keep a low profile, writing literature will allow you to get rid of bad influences (or make money as a hack), painting is unchanged.
Teaching positions, promotions and translation jobs are a bit more common to make teaching more competitive with a business career (which is still hands-down better just for making money).
When getting hired as a clerk, you'll get a warning if it's your last chance at a business career (teaching positions won't warn you though, you'll just stop getting call-backs...).
Minor cosmetic changes here and there.
Version 0.3
Limited number of jobs available: you can temp and tutor as many times as you want, but lose too many clerical or teaching positions and you might not be able to find a new one
Translations give Secret Histories lore less often, but give lvl 4 instead of lvl 2 when they do
Bug fix: one of the possible branches of the business career (if you "freed" a seat on the board for yourself but failed to take advantage of it) was bugged, it should be fixed
More "job security" for permanent teaching positions: you can be on "sabbatical" for as long as you want rather than just 60s (but you'll come back as temporary faculty)
Version 0.2
Minor changes to how translation works
A public reputation as a disgraced CEO, stripper, medium/lunatic or criminal will limit your ability to pursue a "legitimate" career (mystique and notoriety do not as they're supposed to represent less public goings-on)
