DO NOT USE THIS MOD. It will ruin your game files and cause crashes.
All you have to do to enable quicksaving is add these 3 lines to your autoexec.cfg file. This information is readily available on Steam Community forums.
con_restricted=0 bind f5 save bind f9 loadlastsave
Not working on recent steam version, like it did on release on a pirated one. Disapointment. Shame on crytek. God its not working even when editing gamedata manually, i dont get it, devmodes thirdperson works but saves dont, i have improvement project installed if it counts, but i didnt it back on release so i dunno. P.S: Waste of time, just look up on steam guides, 2 lines in autoexec and it works like a clock.
(Edit: In hindsight, I am not sure I can endorse the mod. It gets the job done I guess but its too convoluted to execute and not as useful as it should be.)

Steps to enable (download):
Download the mod
Navigate to CrysisRemastered\Game, this is the folder where you installed the game. On Steam, you can right click the game, go to 'Properties, then 'Installed Files' and then 'Browse...'. This will take you to the folder where you installed the game.
Backup the file in called gamedata.pak
Replace gamdata.pak with the one from the download link
Still better than some sh@tty visual mods that include quicksave feature. Thanks a lot, i hope they'll releaase a patch that adds such wonderful feature
