For those (like me) who tried installing this mod on the EA Desktop version, but couldn't load it through the in game mod option.

Do as it says in the summary and copy the downloaded folder into Crysis 2\Mods.
Full path should look something like this: "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Crysis 2\Mods\Ultra_nanosuit\".

Now, open the EA Desktop App and go to your Collection and view the properties for Crysis 2.
To "Advanced launch options" add: "-mod Ultra_nanosuit" without quotation marks (after -mod it is the name of the mod folder case-sensitive). Save.

Start game. In the bottom right, it should say "Active Mod: Ultrananosuit". Enjoy.

P.S.: If you're not using EA Desktop version, this should still work if added it to the launch properties of the executable/shortcut. Haven't tested it myself, though.

P.P.S.: For some reason, I can't get the additional Suit perks to work. They show up in the upgrade menu, but even with enough points, I can't unlock them. If someone could help me figure out how to get them to work, it would be greatly appreciated.  <-- Fixed itself somehow.

I'm using this mod with Steam version of Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, and it's amazing! Thanks for making it, it's awesome :)

Also I might have to play on a harder difficulty level now, rather than the normal one (soldier?). I was just running around with a heavy machine gun with armor mode on, and groups of 5+ soldiers couldn't do anything to me. Fun, but might be more fun if I turn of the difficulty.

It might be worth trying to copy the mod files from the mod "gamecrysis2" folder into the game "gamecrysis2" and then you might not have that problem.

This is just how the game is there's a command line/set launch options (if using Steam) trigger to auto load specified mod: -mod modnamehere

its for og Crysis 2 so not sure if it works with Remastered edition.

Obviously you put the specific mod name instead  of "modnamehere".

Endos method should work to but remember tho backup original "gamecrysis2" folder if you don't want to validate or reinstall the game whenever you want to go to the og experience.

OK, I installed the 2 folders into the "gamecrysis2" folder, but it didn't change nor give me
the additional weapon attatchments, nor the FY71 assault rifle...how did YOU get that?

what am I doing wrong in terms of installing this mod?

@NALLTOR, when you say "create a new profile" do you mean that email prompt thing that pops up when you open the game?

No, it's after that email prompt. You get past that prompt and then can choose Profile from the menu, where you can create/delete profiles

I created a Mod folder for Steam Crysis 2 Maximum Edition and it shows up in the menu. It might be easier to just copy the mod contents into the "gamecrysis2" folder though, because I notice if I enable or disable high resolution textures in the settings, it disables the mod. Then, when I load my saved game it crashes, unless I remember to turn the mod back on in the menu.
