Alright, so there was some Nvidia update a couple of years back that bricked the 64bit version of the game, but now with the C1 64bit exe, it works. However, this mod seems to require an update for it to work again. I will happily donate $50 if you fix it - message if interested.
Seems to cause a CTD upon game startup. Only using this and the CRBM v1.0 mod on the 64bit GOG version with cloud sync off. Confused though because, IIRC, this mod used to work, but neither this mod nor GOG Crysis have been updated since then.
I tried to get my Crysis running on 64 bit. In the end I downloaded the Crysis Warehead Bin64 files and so got it to start on 64 bit. But after installing the mod the game will crash with the following error code: Crysis64.exe - entry point not found:
The procedure entry point "?addDSP@System@FMOD@@QEAA?AW4FMOD_RESULT@@PEAVDSP@2@@Z" could not be located in "Game location/CrySoundSystem.dll"
I also tried it with the original crysis Bin64 folder, but there I couldn´t even get the 64 bit mode running without the mod. I bought the game in 2007, so i installed it from the original DVD and patched it to 1.2.1. Blood mod is installed and working.
When I play with a gamepad, the message "disable gamepad" and "connect gamepad" is constantly displayed every time I press the buttons without a mod, there is no problem with the gamepad "Updated": The message appears when I rotate the camera with the right stick ps I'm playing with your mod for bloody wounds
Alright... Which version of the game are you playing ? and which platform ? This mod could have issues on others versions different from the one I made the mod (GOG, patch 1.2).
If I install only blood mod or active radgoll separately, there is no problem with "recognise gamepad" message spamming when moving the right stick, but if I install both mods, the problem appears. Is there really no way to fix this problem? I really wanted to play with two mods together, and with a normally working gamepad, because only then you get a full-fledged experience from the game
Since this mod "active ragdoll" is a very agressive mod like I explained due to the DLL's original game overwrite I believe you must sacrifice something to get things going. Or your gamepad, or this mod.
I had to fix the problem myself, in a rude way, by removing the graphic elements from the game archive that are responsible for displaying the annoying message. This message still appears in the menu, but in the actual gameplay, the message is no longer displayed
Funny, I've seen this issue myself and had no idea could be this mod hahaha. Well there's nothing that we can do since it is probably a DLL issue like I explained. When that happens with me I just drop the weapon or save and load the level - It's a way through.
This doesn't work for me. The blood mod works fine, but this one won't work after trying to install it a few times. No idea why it could be that I'm using the xbox gamepass version.
