My SaveGame editor is aimed to alter all general purpose variables to make these games easier to beat. Unfortunately there is no any solid in-game data correction algorithm but I added some of them when you save your edited file. Good luck.

It's working like the other known save game editors. No additional skillz required. But pay attention that some values are not available for editing to prevent the data corruption. Maximum lifes = 255 [1 byte limit].
