You go to where the game is installed > Crash Bandicoot 4 > Lava > Content > Paks and in there you create a folder named "~mods" (with the ~ or else it won't work). Hopefully I'm not too late.
Also after trying this mod, the model is badly rigged. Crash's face doesn't stretch too much which makes it look like he's only having one expression, and also some polys of the body like the arms when moving look bad and make it seem like if it was plain.

Finally, a true Retro skin for Crash, not that terrible imitation they gave us (I'm talking about original "The Classic" skin in game, not C4 model that grew on me). Now to wait for Coco PS1 model mod.
