They do, except for a few: the N.Verted ones are impossible now, since N.Verted mode was removed, and the platinum relics are harder now, so the achievement is harder as well.
I plan to include a save file in version 2 that has everything completed (Including all platinum relics and N.Verted levels), so that people can get all Steam achievements even with the mod installed.
Hey, thank you for this mod. You made Crash 4 much more fun and less frustrating for me, i initially gave up collecting all gems etc... but your mod finally made it a fair challange. I think i found a bug: in food run time trials the flashback tape won't appear. I also despeately need a hint: i can't find the hidden gem in railing hit
I think I'm going to hold off downloading for now since updates are planned, but would it be possible for the crossover stages to end with the cutscenes that transition to Crash/Coco to cut out replaying those level segments? Or alternatively, just place the end of the level immediately at the area you take control of Crash/Coco with all the boxes from then on removed from the stage. Relic times would have to be adjusted with this in mind, but it's always been such a slog having to replay those level sections, just with slightly different box placements.
You're an absolute champion for doing this, you made me love the game again! I was wondering if it would be possible to include a toggle for portraying a level in the n-verted style during time trial runs? Just to mix it up when trying for the higher tier relics.
Hmm, interesting idea, I'll look into it later. Don't know if every filter would work with Time Trials though, especially World 5 and World 9, where gameplay is sped up or slowed down, I wonder if these effects can be changed. It'd bring a bit of variety for sure, though I imagine it would make some levels even harder for time trials. 😀
Oh yeah, I totally forgot the food dimension has that underwater movement effect. I'm not sure what the magnitude of this request is with those issues, but thanks for considering the idea even if it doesn't pan out.
An alternative could be to keep the N.Verted stages in, but not have any gems in them and instead just have their own relics. This way they'd only be extra speedrunning challenges with unique twists to them rather than adding too much in the way of padding. Not sure how possible it would be to not have gems in these stages though.
You're a goddamn champion. I found Crash 4 to be outright infuriating with how much bullshit they wanted the player to go through to do completionist stuff. Half of it felt like sheer spite turned into game development. With this, maybe I can actually finish the game; I've dropped it at least three times now just from sheer annoyance. Thank you, my friend.
