I noticed several questions about the possibility of DLSS 3.5 and Ray Reconstruction support in the comments.
This question has been answered on the mods original page over at PCGamingWiki PCGW Community, but to save you some time:
DLSS 3.5 will not be implemented. Sorry.
Development of the mod is finished. My intent was the implement HDR, the rest was extra. I can't keep implementing every new technology from nvidia, I have other projects now.
It's possible to use the 3.5 .dll, but that won't enable Ray Reconstruction.
For anyone wanting to use this for the Gamepass/Windows Store version of the game, the No DRM version works fine.
Download the No DRM version from the files tab and extract the contents
Navigate to the game content directory: <XboxGames>\Control PCGP\Content (you can check where the Xbox Games directory is on your PC in the Xbox app by going to Settings > Install Options)
Copy all the contents from the archive you downloaded into that directory, replacing all files it prompts you for
Now launch the game with the new 'Control_DX12.exe' launcher and not the default one in your Start Menu or via the Xbox app
If you want to add the new launcher to your Start Menu so it's easy to find:
In the directory from step 2 above, right click on 'Control_DX12.exe' and click "Send To > Desktop (create shortcut)" - if you're on Windows 11 you'll have to click "Show more options" in the right click menu first
Copy the new shortcut from your desktop
Navigate to the following directory: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
Paste the shortcut here and rename it to 'Control'
Performance is better than the last released version of the game, and it also includes a texture loading bug that this mod fixes. Lately, the audio has been dropping out completely. Is there a fix?
Anyone know of the best way to get a PC Gamepass save working with this mod? Wanted to try to finish the game with proper HDR support and they haven't updated the PC Gamepass version of the game for some reason.
On PC Gamepass there's the standard edition and the ultimate edition. When launching using the dx12.exe, is there any way to know whether its launching the standard vs ultimate edition?
I was just asking because the DLCs would only work with the ultimate edition, right?
This MOD + old version of Control works better for me than the new patch 1.30, I tested version 1.30 and noticed two problems, firstly some weird sharpening effect + antialiasing works worse. I tried different versions of dlss but in any case I see nasty bad antialiasing on eyes and hair, in the old version antialiasing works perfectly smooth. The second issue is that when ray tracing is enabled I see a lot of shadow noise on the skin.
I don't know, MSAA doesn't really help, I still see some noise on the hair and weird anti-aliasing work (or is it some kind of sharpening effect). For me old version of the game with 3.8.10 DLSS still looks nicer, clean and with better antialiasing, doesn't matter TAA or DLSS. I also found 1.30 game version has a problem with Ray Traced Indirect Diffuse Lighting causes strong noise/shadow artifacts on the neck, face and hair.
This mod is currently deprecated, the official 1.30 patch of the game includes everything that was here and more. To use the HDR version that the mod came with, follow this guide.
Unfortunately, there seem to be some serious issues with the new patch. I tried a full clean reinstall of the game, then the graphics drivers. Massive stuttering, hitching, and freezing issues that seem to get worse the longer the game runs. Not seeing any obvious fix in the renderer.ini either.
Anyone who's updated to the latest official version of the game with native HDR support who's finding the hdr to be a bit dull compared to the mod, if you open up render.ini and look for a line called m_eHDRPreset and change it from 0 to 2 this will give a much wider dynamic range similar to the mod (setting it to 1 appears to be equivalent to the mods original look HDR mode)
Haven't, patch not available for GoG version yet. Strange that the HDR preset would not configure itself when using the in-game parameter ? Sounds that 1.30 covers everything the mod brought to us thanks to Filoppi and with littles extras.

Still playing with your awesome mod !
I was wondering if you recommend to override to DLSS 4 with profile K (Nvidia Control Panel / NvidiaApp) or to leave it "as is" ?
Thanks!
Or does this mess with your mod?
Thanks!
