No plain white? Would be sweet to just rock a platinum that isn't overblown white highlights (goes with any color suits). I found one, called Foundational white/ silver, but it was paper white, so once you walked into a lit area it just looked like a white blob with no white detail.
Not entirely black as the root hair colours tend to overlap that. Though in certain environments it could look jet black. ReShade also helps with darkening the hair too.
The mod doesn't work for me. Here is the log from Loose Files Loader:

Therefore I believe I placed the files correctly, but when loading my save game, Jesse still has her default hair. Game version is 0.0.342.469, which can be seen on the taskbar when the game is alt + tabbed.
Edit: I figured it out. You're not supposed to choose one of the 4 hairstyle files, you add all the files and the mod will automatically use them as needed when you change hairstyles/skins. This is not clear from the way the instructions are phrased: "and paste *.tex (of your choice) in your Control data_pc folder". To me this implies you're supposed to choose only one, otherwise you'd tell people to paste all the files instead.
It seems that all you did was remove the parenthesis, which is not enough to avoid this ambiguity. I would suggest "and paste the four .tex files in your Control data_pc folder".
These look amazing, thanks! I'd like to suggest adding a screenshot with the game's default hair color, but showing the 4 hairstyles with a subtitle under each one, so the user knows which file to choose inside the andro/jesse/accessories subfolder.
