How to install and use on singleplayer/co-op.
Now it's easy to make this reshade work if you do it correctly, whcih i didn't in the start and did some digging.
First download reshade the newest. Open your Conan  Binary folder in steam folder should look something like this
C:/steamapps/common/Conan Exiles/ConanSandbox/Binaries/Win64. Here is where all the action regarding your reshade setup is gonna happen.
Now drag your Reshade_Setup_4.9.1.exe file to this folder, it should contain:
    Battleeye (folder)
    ClientLog.txt
    ConanSandbox.exe
    ConanSandbox.ico
    ConanSandbox_BE.exe and so on
Now start the setup by double click the  Reshade_Setup_4.9.1.exe file, select the ConanSandbox.exe 64.bit (there are 2 ConanSandbox.exe make sure you select the 64 bit version).
Now you need to select the driver version which is the middle one named 10/11/12. Now select yes and hit enter for the next 2 steps and your reshade setup is done.
The folder should now contain following:
    Battleeye (folder)
    Reshade-shaders (folder)
    ClientLog.txt
    ConanSandbox.exe
    ConanSandbox.ico
    ConanSandbox_BE.exe
    Dreamworld.dll
    dxgi.dll
    dxgi.dll and so on
Next step if not allready done download this reshade and zip it. You only need one item and thats   Conan exile reshade [monsieur P].ini file. Drag it or copy it to the same folder where we did the reshade setup. And you are almost done.
For Reshade to work with Conan you need to disable Battleeye or you wont be able to launch the game.
Thats a easy fix since we already are in the correct folder. Double click the BattlEye folder and in here you will find the Uninstall_BattlEye.bat file which we need to run. When thats done launch the game and reject the installment of Battleeye, note if you only play singleplayer/co-op just hit the box    Don't show this again.
Now you are able to log in and when ingame just hit Home selcect skip tutorial and in top select the  Conan exile reshade [monsieur P].ini file and voila reshade working. Oh and my setup steam overlay is running.

I know this is old, but I am trying to follow your directions to get this to work properly... what I cannot follow though is the very first step:
"Now drag your Reshade_Setup_4.9.1.exe file to this folder"
There is no "Reshade_Setup_4.9.1.exe" file in either downloadable file; I have downloaded both available options and neither of them have this Reshade file. I have even opened the README that comes with both files and downloaded the Master.zip file as suggested by the Mod Dev himself, but even that file didn't contain this .exe file. Where is this located at please?
Will this work just fine if I allow Vortex to install the mod on its own by any chance?

I downloaded the latest Reshade from https://reshade.me/

When I follow your steps and modify the ConanSanbox.exe it is also asking me if I want to install a Preset or I can Skip this step. If I select the Conan exile reshade [monsieur P].ini preset or Skip it gives me a whole bunch of options to install parts of the effects package. What do we do there? Just press SKIP both times?

I can't get this to work, when I start the game the Reshade takes me though some kind of tutorial and then I can't enable the settings.

anyone having trouble getting the game to launch after installing reshade, try launching from the Win64 folder instead of through steam, that's what ended up working for me preset looks great

This still isn't working for me, years later.  I dunno why it isn't working but I wish I could.
Conan looks so untextured and smooth and blurry (by default), it's hard on the eyes!
