IT STILL WORKS! It still works you just need to set it up correctly. I just redownloaded Conan and made some tweaks to my collection on steam and after a couple of hiccups in setting the mod manager right it worked no problem: SteamFolder = Root folder of Steam, where your "steam.exe" is located, in my case is "D:/Steam" ConanFolder = Where you have the game installed. I have it on another disk which is "F:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Conan Exiles" ModFolder = This is what causes problem (for me at least). just put the same as SteamFolder. I putted "D:/Steam" and it worked Collection = Here paste the link of the collection u made/are using. mine is "https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2467891102" U can use it if you want, there are only basic stuffs and some QoL no massive game overhauls. It is as close as vanilla as possible (for my tastes at least). Don't ask me to add/remove mods. This is my personal collection, I just don't mind if u want to use it (maybe u can copy it and then customize)
EDIT: to find your Conan folder, right click on canan game in steam library, select "manage" then "browse local files" it will open the folder you need, then copy the address on top and paste it in the MM
I think it should be obvious (?) to most that this is not being worked on any longer...it hasn't had a meaningful update in the best part of SIX (6) years (as of June 2024), so raging in the comments of this mod is pointless? Let this be a lesson to you, CHECK THE DATE THE MOD WAS LAST UPDATED.
Not sure if this is being worked on but I play on a few servers so my mod list is long. In the window that comes up during "check" if you have a lot of mods (aka too many) you cannot see the full list not sure if a scroll could be added? Other than that it works fine. For those having issues the readme explained things for setting up. For the folders and such you have to manually set them. For the collections, for me I had to make a collection of my installed mods then link to that.
cannot detect game folder or mods folder....and i can clearly see i'm not the only one with this issue......not only that but i literally cannot play with mods it seems since nothing is detected once the game is started
u got the wrong folders then, to me it works after selecting the right folders. Steam folder is the steam installation folder, the one that inside have appcache folder, bin, clientuiconfig, .... , steamapp etc. conan folder, just go to "browse local files", and the folder that opens is the correct one (go back 1 folder, so now u should see all your steam games folders, u should be in the steamapp\common folder) mod folder, located in steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox, its called "Mods" collection, just past here the link of the collection that u want to use

and then it finally worked...installed/updated mods and then my conan had no mods detected.....tried launching from steam and through the mod launcher
literal junk
