Flying Manor is unplayable with volumetric fog disabled, you can't see literally anything, my fix was to open console and type r.VolumetricFog 1, or you can use r.Fog 0 to disable fog entirely. I would warn people about this issue, it's pretty game breaking and I fear some people will just give up that area entirely because of this. If anyone is wondering I think I enabled console by changing the ClairFix ini (a different mod), I can't remember honestly.
Well, it seems that these are BUGS that are not possible to fix if you are using the mod since it is not possible to adjust the changes to a specific area.
First of thanks for this. Makes things much nicer. A couple of usage/technical questions. 1) I use another mod that uses engine.ini to configure. After making any changes, I change engine.ini to read-only so the game won't disrupt my changes. Will that affect how this mod works? 2) I notice that there are files that modify individual options, such as Bloom, Chromatic Aberration, etc. Will using more than one of those files at the same time work? In other words, if I just want to remove fog and bloom, can I use the two files that target those two together? Thanks
Thanks for the fast and exact reply. Would it be possible to add the engine.ini description and configuration options somewhere? I don't mind editing engine.ini.
I'm flying around with DOF removal and there is still DOF. Is there a way to remove that? I'd like a clear view all the way across the world map when flying, but this mod doesn't seem to effect it or something.
There is no DOF on the map if you use the mod that removes it, but there are some rendered graphics that are the background and those are blurry so it is not possible to change them. P.S: Don't use two mods from here at the same time.
No you're right. It was an engine.ini that I had to modify. It was overwriting your mod. I had to change the DOF quality from 2 to 0 in it. That solved it.
This mod is compatible with any engine.ini modification and this ini will have priority before this mod, as for the images I don't know if eliminating the fog will solve the background brightness because it looks like the eye adaptation.
i only had the fog mod running and had the same brightness issue, the fog mod also ruined the start menu where it shows your party, it made everything pixelated and dark and terrible looking. Disabled the fog mod and everything was fine again

Can I use the "Remove Volumetric Fog" file at the same time as the "Remove Chromatic Aberration - Depth Of Field" file?
I know you said "P.S: Don't use two mods from here at the same time." but I just wanted to double check with these ones since they're modifying different parts of the game. thanks
They all modify the same internal file so it doesn't matter if you install them all, only the last file to load when starting the game will work, all the others won't work, that's why I created several combined versions.
Hello, I don't know about the first playthrough, but on New Game+, after Emma's speech during the loading screen that concludes the prologue, the game crashes every time. I had to remove the mod and reload my save to finally be able to watch the expedition landing scene. After that scene, I saved and reinstalled the mod.
This is just a simple UE official setting for the engine graphics, never under any circumstances can create any kind of crash is like adding instructions to the Engine.ini file, also the scene you mention in which you have problems and the following two do not use the UE engine because they are pre-recorded video scenes and usually use the video codecs of your operating system.

2- No, you can only use one mod at a time.
I'd like bloom to stay in, actually.
P.S: Don't use two mods from here at the same time.
and i barely see because fog becomes too much, and when gustave enter to that red place and lune finds him at start of game, the fog becomes red
I know you said

edit: also, even if there isn't, thank you for the mod anyway! the game looks amazing without volumetric fog
(I use Remove Fog - Bloom).
