i would love a change on the pictos border picture, that yellowish border. when trying to assign pictos is very hard to spot which ones are yellow or not, which i could change it to something more distinct.
not sure if this would fit your mod, if not, where could i make this request?
Can you please make a mod that remove audio of pictos/luminas that happens at the start of every fight? or add something like that to your "- Remove Pictos Buff Popup" mod? The audio of pictos hurt my ears so much
Hi, first of all congratulations for the mod, now it's super readable. I have a request, is it possible to make the crosshair more visible? Currently it is a bit too transparent, if the background is light it becomes invisible.
For me it would be another great help for readability.
Probably not much, I have a feeling the game is going to be patched soon and it will probably break the mod so I'm waiting to see what they change and redo the mod. There's a good chance they improve the font size/visibility since a lot of people have complained about it.
Hi! Thanks for the mod, makes readability much easier.
I have a suggestion/request: don't remove the fade out transition when opening/closing the map. It feels really weird, like if the game freezes for a second (that's probably what the transition is hiding).
Also, I know the mod replaces descriptions, so maybe this is a hard one: is it possible to not make the actions of the enemies bold? (the ones that says "enemy xxxx attacks quickly"). Looks weird too (not a big deal, tbh). EDIT: Ignore this one, after some minutes of playing you get used to it.
EDIT: I also noticed that dialogs and subtitles are way bigger, just like the "bigger version" of the mod, but I'm using the condensed font with the default mod and medium size subtitles in game. (Using condensed because I'm using better descriptions mod).
Thanks for pointing it out, I never realized there was supposed to be a transition there. Turns out they use blur for that transition and since I removed it from most files that's why it doesn't fade out. Luckily that particular file blur I think is only used for that fade out so I'll reenable it when I can.
Are you using the latest version of the main mod? The big text was an issue I thought I fixed on the recent version.
I'm having a problem with the Main mod (2.1.3) and the optional mod (Remove Pictos Buff Popup 1.0), the Remove Pictos Popup mod doesn't remove the Pictos popup.
Did you rename the mod files? Both mods modify the same file so the "remove pictos" needs to be loaded first, UE loads mods by alphabetical order so that's why I put the _ as the first letter in the name.
Tried with both two different folders (one for the popup remover, another one for the HUD tweaks) and one folder with both mods in, worked either way Try putting all 7 files in a new folder in ~mods that you can name whatever you want, let's say HUD_Tweaks-MrHunts_p Actually probably best to copy and paste the mods name (see the screenshot above, if you don't use the condensed font you will have "Font_Replacement-MrHunts_p.pak" instead of "MrHunts_BetterTextVisiblity_condensed_p.pak"as your last file in the folder)
Hi! Are you able to make the Battle UI any bigger? Specifically the cards that show up near the character for skills, items, etc. I'm unable to read them at any resolution. Thanks!
I'm working on that right now, I'll probably release a new version today or tomorrow, unless there's a new game update. It's not as simple as making the text bigger because I also need to increase the size of the boxes and move them, otherwise they'll overlap with the other UI elements, there's not much space there. But so far it's looking very good.
Options for even bigger UI are always good, but I will say I'm already having a much easier time reading what's in that screenshot you've posted. Thank you for this!
This is great! I can finally see what my dang skills do. Thank you so much, now I can finally play this game.
A quick note, I noticed the enemy health bars draw in front of the skill panels, but I'm not sure if that's a downside as I might not be able to tell who I'm targeting if they drew behind. Just something to think about, but it's fine currently!

You'll also need to update bigger text and remove the older files from bigger text if there are any.
Hopefully nothing is broken.

HUD Increase Scale 05\10
But you have to remove Bigger Text for Dialogue-Cutscenes-Battle Menu

Are there any other changes planned or are we at the final release?

Other than that, everything looks great.

Glad to know that the removal of the map transition wasn't intentional; it's fixed now in 2.1.3. Thanks a lot for your work.
2.1.3 + Pictos remover + condensed
