So I finally got around to being able to test the mod out, but unfortunately doesn't seem to work for me. 2 controllers plugged in, and I see the P1, P2, and P3 icons on the pause menu, but it just says P1's turn every time, and both controllers have full control at all times. Basically, both controllers act as P1. Not sure if I'm doing anything wrong or not
Using a ps4 and an Xbox One controller. Tested using both controllers on my computer, and then over Parsec as well.
So I figured out where I was getting hung up. I originally only went to the steam settings in the system tray and activated steam input from there, but it turns out I needed to specifically go into my steam library, right click clair obscur: expedition 33, go to properties, go to controller, and turn on the Enable Steam Input directly from there to get it to work. it was set to Use Default Settings by default.
Seems like several people in the comments might be having the same problem I had
I have the Xbox Game Pass of the game, i added it to Steam as a game on my library. The mod ingame seems to work (i can see the P1, 2 and 3 on the characters) but when a friend joins his screen remains completely black, they cannot do nothing and they cannot hear anything either. I'm using RemotePlayWhatever
Love this mod! The main problem me and my friends have been running in to is when starting combat. If we dont get the "First strike" and the enemy attacks first, we cant dodge/parry or anything for the first turn. Afterwards everything works as normal.
Anyone have any ideas/fixes? We're using RemotePlayWhatever.
Is possible to set 3rd character to be used by player 1 and player 2 depending on the round? I mean first round p1, second round p2 and so on... or I need to modify the code of the mod?
Great mod but the only issue is that every now and then, player 2 controller randomly switches to keyboard controls causing us to lose. We are both using xbox controllers. is there a way to fix this?
I played the mod for a while with my buddy and here's what i found.
Where there's a need to "jump counter" if one player presses the counter button it wont count for the other player, in addition they'll just drop back to the floor and get hit because of the slow motion.
In addition to authors question, if one player parries and the other evades the counter wont occur at the end of enemy attack.
Hi, I get the same bug someone else posted about where the GUI will initially show the keyboard buttons initially on my turn when player 2 takes over. Actually, this only happens when the "X" (ps) button is pressed, aka base attack, where the first input will cause the keyboard buttons to display (and eat the input). Other buttons don't cause this. It's a minor annoyance because it flickers the display, but it also eats the input. It doesn't effect dodging.
Is it possible to look into this at all, or do you have any idea why this might be the case? Thank you so much! It works perfectly otherwise and I love the mod.
sometime it also take you in a limbo where the controler is not responsive anymore. the player 1 has to click with its mouse in order to unfreeze the controler 2.
its the only realy gamebreaking issue that i got so far with this mod.

(in my case for Xbox + Steam Controller),
as doing just the right click one didn't work either for me.
