About this mod
This is a custom map based initially off the San Francisco map. It has many improvements over the SF map. Enjoy!

Features:
- Based on San Francisco Map using the Barrier Island climate
- Many new bays and bluffs added to the shorelines for more interesting places to build
- More resources added in larger distinct areas rather than scattered in small pockets
- Elevations modified to add interest
- Several lakes with waterfalls that drain into streams that drain to the sea
- Lakes that are ideal for damming, especially the upper one that flows into a lower one. It has a natural bowl
that would support a large dam if you dam across the upper waterfall. As of this writing dams still seem to
have an issue with water levels that prevent them from getting to maximum efficiency.
Hopefully this will get fixed soon
- One single highway entering the map along with a narrow coast road that follows the coast back south
- Two other road entrances on north bluffs with a potential to build outlying towns or build bridges to them
- Train line up to the starting tile
- Care taken to ensure existing roads follow the terrain and are cut into it only where necessary
- A couple of long beach areas that could make nice resorts
- Extra wildlife spawning points added
- Limits of map carefully worked to prevent the look of the map or roads just disappearing at the edges
when zoomed right out
- Two relatively flat areas perfect for the international airport that don't require initial landscaping
- Loads more trees added

How To Install:
- Unpack and copy to your: %User%\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\Maps, create Maps folder if needed.
- Start new game - select Cali Coast as map.
