It surprises me they threw this game out in the wild with such crappy graphics, and so many other problems. I have a 14th gen i9 and 64gb ddr5 and a rtx4090, and the fact everything goes to hell when you approach 200k is shocking. I had so many problems with this game with the graphics flickering. To date 11.28.23 have the developers fixed this yet or do we still need this mod?  I know they are going to have a fairly large game fix update some time in December.

I have the same config, and I'm just still waiting for an official dlss supported version of the game.
Can't believe they released a bugy game like this.

Cannot seem to get mod to load with bepinex. I have this mod and unlock all tiles installed, and my bepinex log only shows the unlock all tiles mod being activated. Any idea how to fix this?

Just an FYI, if you guys want way less ghosting and fewer artifacts simply download the latest DLSS dll from techpowerup and replace the current one in the game folder, works just fine with this mod and gives a bunch of visual improvements :)

I took your advice and replaced the DLSS with the newest version and I'm impressed. I've seen a few road flickers, but nothing game breaking.

I'm running a 3060 (12GB vRAM) and this made my game much smoother. I know others have stated they notice some flickering. I personally haven't noticed any issues at all after several hours of gameplay. Thanks for this!

for anyone who has the flickering artifacts, you can enable dev options, hit tab ingame to open the dev menu, go to game rendering -> Shaders and disable the GIsshader. didnt notice anything else missing except for the flickering.

It seems to disable the glass shader on some of the buildings, worth it to remove the flickering though.

Keep in mind that DLSS is not officially supported and it has graphical artifacts that are not the fault of your setup, but because DLSS is enabled even though the developers disabled it. It won't be perfect.

how is this supposed to work though? bepinex is not working with newer versions and cities skylines as it doesnt hook with doorstep 4.0. tested this myself right now. bepinex 577 or older use older doorstep versions (3.4) which hooks but it cant patch your mod and gives an error in console.
so it kinda cant work... and it doesnt unfortunately.

Loads for me in bepinex 600. Not sure if the folder name matters, but I named the folder AlphaDLSSEnabler and placed that in /plugins and it loads fine in the console. Also noticed the artificacts and improvements in game, so it does work.

which version exactly did you use? #674 x64?

edit: nvm, it seems like the download was bugged. i had the right archive but the winhttp.dll was missing from it the zip. after redownloading it had it and now it works.

Which graphics options do you use in the game for the best results or even to minimize artifacts? :)
    Thanks for your mod!

The installation process is outlined in the mod description. Make sure you install BepInEx first, run the game, then close it and then install the mod.
