    Hey, great work!

    I got it somewhat working with ReShade

    I have all the shaders needed an in the correct order, but my game does not have as vibrant colors as in your screenshots. Enabling the effect only gives a blue tint and adds the sharpening.

    Any pointers on what to tweak?

    For those not getting it to work:

    • Put the .ini-file from this mod directly into the Cities2 install folder
    • Install ReShade
    • Install -> choose Cities2.exe from the list -> choose DirectX 11 -> select the .ini file from this mod to get the shaders
    • ReShade is missing some shaders: RetroTint.fx Clarity2.fx. Download them and put them into {Cities2 install folder}\reshade-shaders\Shaders
    • Start the game
    • Get the overlay by pressing the Home-button and follow the tutorial
    • Only enable the shaders that are listed as required by this mod

    Edit: found that I had accidentally overwritten the settings for qUINT_lightroom.fx. Now it looks great!

    I got it working.  You need to open the gshade app in the start menu after you finish installing gshade.  Gshade started once I opened cities 2 afterwards.

    Default key for overlay is shift+backspace.
    Default toggle key is shift+f3

      Bro, you need to download the shaders (from gshade) from the github to inicialize the mod;

      So, after you put all files from the download, the mod will be able to select on or off;

    Gshade does not work for me. The installation does not use the default folder, but a non-existent one, and then the installation aborts.
    Instead of "Cities Skylines II", "Cities Skylines " is expected, which of course does not exist.

      Dunno what to tell you, I told gshade to install to the Cities2 exe and it just straight up did it, no problems.

    looks great, but gshade isn't opening from within the game to apply the preset. followed the instructions (only checked d11 and alternative hook in the installation to cities2.exe), tried changing the overlay toggle key in gshade.ini (shift+f2, home, printscreen, 8), nothing working.

    Thanks for your work, WaffleCheesebread! Exciting to see mods happening.

    I installed Gshade. It took two attempts, first try failed.

    I created  "Gshade Presets" folder in Cities Skylines 2 folder (where exe is located) and placed SimCity_2013_LessPurple_Waffle.ini in it. Started the game and nothing happens on Shift/F2. What did I do wrong?

    Where can we get required shades:

     -qUINT_Lightroom.fx
    -RetroTint.fx
    -Curves.fx
    -AdaptiveSharpen.fx
    -Clarity2.fx

    Thanks!
