I'll preface this by saying this is not an in-game problem. I have yet to encounter an issue in-game, after a handful of hours.
My question is, I've opened your vid files using RAD tools player, and the audio is literally just scratching noises lol. Is that normal? When opening the original videos, the audio plays just fine.
Yes that would be normal if you're using a recent version of the tools. I had to use an older version of RAD Tools, for my mod to work in-game. The version I used was from back from 2017, and I grabbed it using Wayback Machine. It says "Product version 2.7b/1.300b," and "File Version 2.7.1.0." Audio should play correctly if you can get that version.
Out of curiosity, is this supposed to be stretching the videos to fill the wide screen format? Because it looks bad when doing that. I hope it's something on my end.

For some odd reason when the current RAD Tools encodes with HD video, the audio will not work in-game; hence why you have to use the old version to add the audio.
The version of RADTools that Edale recommended should work. Also, I do not currently give permission for anyone to use these files, for a public mod release. However, if you pm me and give me a good idea of what your intentions are, I normally don't have a problem with letting people use these files. I simply intend to confirm that it's going towards a legitimate project.

Not sure how many people finished but I just finished the game completely and it seems the last issue was when the dragon forms to the Dragon God which was fixed. Going through NG+ now to see if anything happens. Once again thank you so much whtsqurl
Without debug tools, it's hard for me to test every FMV. Thank you for reporting that everything is working as it should. I'm glad you're enjoying the mod, and hopefully it is totally bug free.
Hi. Reporting a new issue I found with latest 1.0.3 version There's some green screen flickering (70% of the screen) in the conversation with Kid right after she recovers from the poison, when Kid asks Serge what he wants to do next. This happens in the save kid path, it's an FMV with Chronopolis being swallowed up by a black hole.
Btw, thanks for all your work on this mod so far! Really appreciate it

Hello, For my part, I play on the French version and the game has 6 languages (de, en, es, it, fr and jp) for the intro and end cutscenes, are they all upscaled? or is it only in english? Thx
I could notice that when playing the introduction video, on the French part (for the others languages, I don't know) there is a black rectangle all around the video, then the rectangle gives way to two black bands at the top and at the bottom, I don't have that on the original videos, nor on another upscaled video mod that I could try, so I'll give you the information.
Thank you for pointing out the black box around the book section of the intro. I have fixed that in my recent 1.0.3 patch. But I cannot get rid of the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen, without zooming in. This is because I used the original PSX FMV's as my upscale source, and their resolution is just slightly different than what the game is looking for. No more black bars on the side though. Thank you for pointing this out to me, and helping this mod become bug free.
Hi, I found another issue - the cutscene where the dragons combine after FATE is defeated, the whole video is reduced to the lower right quarter of the screen (4th quadrant), and then the rest of the screen seems to be playing the end-game credit. Using 1.0.2
