I found the menu, everything is there; But how do I change the values?
I attempted to click on the buttons but nothing happens?
Only "Experience Value" and "Money Value" changes in the menu. The 3 other settings (Which is what I wanted to change and downloaded the mod for) does not change when clicking.
Specifically I wanted to change the unscrew/screw speeds, but it's stuck on 1, without changing when clicking on them. DEBUG mode shows nothing in the MelonLoader Console when I click these 3.
I am running MelonLoader v0.5.7
Also the config doesn't appear under "UserData" as specified in the post nor under "Mods" as most configs end up in.
I have game version 1.0.21 and Only Money and Exp multiplier works. Though for Money , You gaining multiply amount and spending same multiply amount too. Thats why actual result is zero. Will you please fix and update the mod ?
Note: I have fixed the Money Multiplayer myself. But dont know if its allowed to share or not.
I just start the game with money settings to 1, then repair and buy everything i need and when i want to sell the car i save the game and exit to the menu. Now i change the money setting to 5 and enter my saveload from before. I sell the car and the rest of the parts for a big buck and done. A little bit complicated to jump back and forth but thats the solution that works for me
If you are using 0.30 the config file shows up in the UserData folder in your game directory not in the mods folder.
From what I can see the money is broken per notes in the config. Honestly I didn't test it because I prefer 0.20 because the settings are available in the main menu and if you are willing to save and go back to menu you can make the money work.
Can confirm the XP increase is working, but not the money. I'm on the latest version of the game, and hope this gets fixed soon.
BTW, this mod was desperately needed because while the core game play of CMS021 can be fun, the devs still don't know how to balance the game as a whole where it respects players' time.
In CMS2018, you need XP to unlock everything, but the money is easy to come by. They did the exact opposite in CMS2021, and decreased the money you earn from jobs because they misinterpreted having too much money in CMS2018, as making the game "too easy". CMS needs more unlocks and milestones that come more frequently and naturally between the story missions to keep players grinding because right now, that's all it is: An unbalanced and boring grind that's gets old very quickly.
