Configs for Salem 1500


This mod adds engine and drivetrain configs to Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 for the Salem 1500


Config2 - V8 4x4, Adds the V8 4x4 engine and drivetrain with engine swap options. Adds appropriate powered front suspension. Suspension lifted, power steering bottle re-sited to to prevent clipping with engine, and wheelbase lengthened

Config3 - Straight 6, Adds the Side Draft Straight 6 engine, Changes radiator for one with an electric fan, adds coolant bottle to go with radiator and adds a rear disc brake conversion

Config4 - EV, Adds an electric motor, battery pack and rear disc brake conversion, removes exhaust and fuel tank. 2 Bonus parts added to load tray cover up clipping suspension.

Config5 - I5 ADI, Adds the I5 ADI engine and appropriate ancillaries (ABS, ECU, etc...)

Config6 - Turbodiesel, Adds a Diesel engine and appropriate ancillaries (ABS, ECU, etc...) and exhaust

Config7 - Disc, Adds a Rear Disc Brake conversion to the Standard version of the vehicle

Config8 - XL Disc, Adds a Rear Disc Brake conversion to the XL version of the vehicle

Config9 - 2.2 DT224, Adds the Land Rover 2.2 DT224 Turbodiesel 4x4 engine and drivetrain. Adds appropriate powered front suspension. Suspension lifted, power steering bottle re-sited to to prevent clipping with engine, and wheelbase lengthened.

Config10 - XL Restomod, Adds modern V8 with appropriate swap options including appropriate ancillaries (ABS, ECU, etc...), lowers ride height, changes wheels and adds Disc Brake conversion and independant rear suspension conversion to XL version of the vehicle. 2 Bonus parts added to load tray cover up clipping suspension.

Config11 - XL Restomod AirRide, Adds modern V8 and swap options including appropriate ancillaries (ABS, ECU, etc...), lowers ride height, changes wheels and adds Disc Brake conversion and independant rear suspension conversion to XL version of the vehicle. 2 Bonus parts added to load tray cover up clipping suspension.

Config12 - BOSS, Adds Ford F350 engine and drivetrain with appropriate ancillaries (ABS, ECU, etc...), lowers ride height, adds Disc Brake conversion, independant rear suspension conversion and changes wheels. 2 Bonus parts added to load tray cover up clipping suspension.

Config13 - COYOTE, Adds Ford COYOTE engine and drivetrain with appropriate ancillaries (ABS, ECU, etc...), lowers ride height, adds Disc Brake conversion, independant rear suspension conversion and changes wheels. 2 Bonus parts added to load tray cover up clipping suspension.


Name - renames Salem 1500 to Ford F100

You MUST have the Electric Car DLC for Config4 (EV)

You MUST have the Land Rover DLC for Config9 (2.2 DT224)

You MUST have the Ford Remastered DLC for Config12 (BOSS) and Config 13 (COYOTE) and some engine swap options in multiple configs

You MUST have the following Bonus Parts from Steam Workshop: Random Metal Plate and Random Curved Shape for Config4 (EV), Config10 (Restomod), Config11 (Restomod AirRide), Config12 (BOSS) and Config 13 (COYOTE).

You MUST have the TK Aftermarket mod for engine swap options in Config2 (V8 4x4), Config10 (XL Restomod) & Config11 (XL Restomod AirRide) and the electric radiator fan in multiple configs


Installation:

Navigate to ...Steam\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021_Data\StreamingAssets\Cars\Salem1500

Paste the required config files here. (Remember to rename these configs, using an appropriate number, in accordance with your config files' numerical order.)


Removal:

Navigate to ...Steam\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021_Data\StreamingAssets\Cars\Salem1500

Delete the config's no longer require, from the folder
