Hey BlackRock1207 thanks for taking the time to do this! I tried it out but for some reason it's not picking up the workshop's cars, I only see the generic cars and DLC cars in the Utility, I go to the Junkyard mainly and by turning off all the generic game cars for the Junkyard/auctions made a difference! I'm seeing more workshop cars in the Junkyard so I can live with that!! I definitely missed this Utility!
I'm so sorry to hear that it's not working on the workshop cars! I don't believe it's within my power to fix as I don't know C#, which is the language this utility is written in. The original author hasn't replied to any of my messages either, so I unfortunately do not think it's going to be fixed unless someone else knows how to do it! Sorry, I wish I could do better!!
Careful with these utility, do not use it! It brakes the configfiles of the changed cars. All of them cost a lot of money after patched by this utility (partially, over 15 million credits). I had to reinstall all vehicle mods and request the faulty files from Steam again.
This 'bug' only happens to cars in the salon that normally can't be in the salon, in my experience. It's technically not a bug, just the way the game calculates car value. If it's happened elsewhere then please provide screenshots so I can narrow something down.
Kann ich bestätigen für einen Porsche auf dem Schrottplatz ca. 15 mio cr. voher den "Cars" ordner sichern
I can confirm that, for a Porsche on the junkyard about 15 million cr. heftiger bug. Make shure you made a copy of the folder "Cars" to restore the configs.
this doesn't seem to catch all the vehicles available to force them in certain areas, for example possibly mod cars don't show up as a changeable option
hmm, that's unfortunate. It was designed to catch all vehicles, but it's also designed for the previous game. I'm not knowledgeable enough with C# to change the function or experiment with a new way of catching the vehicles. I would likely break it or introduce bugs. I believe if you move the modded cars into the same folder as the vanilla cars it should work. I could be mistaken, but it's worth a shot. Sorry I can't do better.
The UniqueMod value indicates the rarity of a vehicle. Making it higher makes a vehicle more 'rare' which means it shows up ('spawns') less often but it also VASTLY increases the value of the car. This includes when buying it from a junkyard, it can double sometimes triple in price, but selling it off also gives a matching profit to boot. Tinkering with it beyond 1 whole point can cause odd effects with the games value system (which is super super temperamental as it is). Not to discourage you, but figured you should be forewarned that it can be weird.
Firstly, you asked the cursed question and shall now be bonked! Secondly, you do NOT install this, it's a tool that you should run with the game closed. There are guides and tutorials on how to use this utility for 2018. Read those guides/watch those videos and you'll learn how to use this tool for 2021 (same process just different game) Third, there are no keys.
1: this is not a cursed question 2: It would be cool to answer correctly instead of answering the way you do. 3: if I ask you the question it is because I cannot find 4: I executed it before launching it, I directed it as planned to the place it should be and it does not work here is the second reason for the message5: sympathy and respect are key things in everyday life
It's cursed because I clearly state in the description that you don't install this which tells me you didn't read it. Either way, here is a quick and dirty walkthrough So this tool is used *only* when the game is closed. You open the tool and find the car that you want to modify. Then you tick the boxes to allow/forbid it from spawning in those locations. Once you're done you can simply close the tool, it makes the changes as soon as you press the buttons so you don't have to worry about saving or otherwise committing the changes After that you can play the game and the car will spawn in the areas you've set. As an example: I want to modify where I can find the salem fastback I open the tool I find Salem fastback and click on it I tick all the salon box because I want it to be able to buy a salem fastback at the salon I close the tool Now I can go to the salon and find a shiny new Salem fastback (should it actually roll). lets say I want the salon to be full of nothing but Salem fastbacks I open the tool I click the none button next to salon at the top I find Salem fastback and click on it I tick the salon box I close the tool I start the game and go to the salon and it's full of nothing but beautiful Salem fastbacks.
That is the rundown of how to use this tool. If you still have issues then let me know.
This tool does NOT let you 'spawn' cars. It lets you modify where cars are allowed to appear. Example: cars that are salon-only can be made to appear in the junkyard.
Thanks so much for converting this. When Curs0r announced he wasn't doing this utility for 21 I was disappointed, it is so useful. Appreciate your work.

Hey if you can actually properly update this thing then totally go for it! My C# sucks, hopefully you can do more than my crude revival!
