You ever wish you could just swap those old-ass drum brakes for something a little more modern? If you like working and upgrading old cars, this is for you!
I found myself frustrated at the lack of swaps in this game that don't involve engines.
Sometimes a good extra pair of disc rakes are exactly what my old car needs, toss out the drums and get yourself some nice and shiny discs!
This mod was made using standard windows text editor.
BEFORE YOU INSTALL MY MOD:
1. Download and install Melon Loader (only v0.5.7 is compatible at the moment)
2. Download and install MeitziQ's QoLmod
3. Download and install TK's Real Engines and Part Names (EN), TK Basics, TK Aftermarket
These Five mods are NECESSARY because the config files were edited with them installed, I'm not taking ANY chances with incompatibility and will not respond to people who don't have them installed.
HOW TO CONVERT TO DISC BRAKES:
Very simply, go to a junkyard (or wherever you get your old cars from) and buy an old car if you don't already have one.
Now strip it completely, literally take every single thing apart.
Open the car's info where it shows "Bare Frame". Use the arrows to swap configs until you see "Disc Conversion" and Voila! you have successfully got rid of that old yee yee ass drum brake and got some stopping power on your ride!
