I have made changes to this mod so as it has part names that are commonly used in Britain and possibly Australia. Would you be interested in adding it to a future update?

Sure but you can also upload it yourself as a mod here, I give you permission. Just need to add this mod in the credits.

What do I do if I don't have all of the engines you have listed? For example, I have the LS3 engine but not the supercharged version.

You don't have to do anything. It's just a version of the original English localization file with more realistic names / correct English part names instead of what Red Dot's apparently outsourced translators who have zero automotive knowledge did. The game was developed in Polish and the English version is a translation of the Polish original, and a really poor one at that.

Goodness I'm retarted. Anyways for the dudes that's confused with the downloads. I'm on PC btw. So basically you follow the instructions under *Files* in this page. go through your steam folder till you get to your CMS2021_data Folder, go through that folder till you find *Localization* open that folder and it should be languages. NOW! download MOD/Unzip it/ once unzipped a folder named after the game should show, keep clicking through that till a file named *RealEnginesAndPartsEN* shows, You grab that file or copy/paste it whatever, and you dropped that file under *Localization* where all the language options is. THEN! in the game open Settings then under language choose what you copied as language. then in the tablet check your engine names. WORKED FOR ME!
If you are sill struggling, you're either dumb or your rig is trash.

As much as any translation is compatible. It's just a language file.

V 1.4 is a pretty extensive update and more or less where I want the mod to be, there will be future updates of course but probably not as extensive. For this version I did a thorough investigation into how suspension/brake/drivetrain parts come together to figure out relevant descriptions. Future updates will probably be minor issues I encounter as I play the game and work on different cars.

      I made a mistake:
Bosch D-Jetronic Mechanical Fuel Injection (I6 M130) should be just Bosch Mechanical Fuel Injection (I6 M130)
D-Jetronic is actually analog electronic FIS, I got mislead by wikipedia; the Bosch mechanical FIS used by the M130 doesn't have its own name

Only matters if you have Mercedes DLC

I lied. I've started adding real part names to parts like gearboxes and turbos. It's fun to research and adds fluff to the game (and you can learn something).

Should I rename A/B cylinder heads, valve covers etc to left/right?

Also I'm thinking of adding a "x" or "z" or some other marker in front of the part names of parts which are not used by anything atm, so when you go to a junkyard or barn you know not to pick them up, and in the store they'll get sorted to the bottom.
