Your mods are really neat! Any chance of making a conversion of other items/outfits? Like for example Seth's Red Mage or some of the staves in the game?

Thanks for the mod, the sword looks awesome   I can't find mods for BDII except the ones you makeI would like to ask you what I need to make mods, mainly I want to edit textures, I have already done it with bravely second and I would like to do it with this game too, but I don't know what tools I need to unpack the paks, I don't ask you to do a tutorial or anything like that, just tell me some keywords to know what I need and search for myselfAnd again thanks for the mod

Hey! I couldn't find any mods either, so I decided to figure it out and make some! I do plan on doing a tutorial and posting it here. However, to get you started you need a special umodel version that accommodates zstd compression. You can find that umodel version on gildor's website. You just need to Google umodel zstd. To extract files, you'll need a key to get umodel to open the files. Do some googling and youll be able to find the key. After that, you can modify textures and models as you like. And then you'll need Unreal editor (version 4.26 I think I use) to import the modified files. You'll need to setup the folder structure in unreal editor the same as you see in umodel. Then you have to cook the content for windows through the unreal editor.  Once youve done that, you'll need what's called the asset editor to package your files into a .pak file. Though I'm sure there are other tools that can do it. You may need to delete everything BUT the Content folder in your cooked content directory before you package it into a .pak. I've had problems if I dont. Then ensure your .pak file has a _p at the end of the file name and then place it in the directory I mention in my mods. This is a very quick, high level overview of how to make mods but hopefully it should get you started! Good luck and I'm excited to see more mods for this game!

Thank you for sharing this info. I've got some experience modding lots of games like KH3, DQXI, Final Fantasy, Elden Ring... I was feeling so sad that there weren't  almost any mods for this game. I'm gonna try to follow the steps you mentioned in order to make some model edits.

That's really cool! Really awesome to see someone making a go at this game. Wide and flat blade was what I imagined when I first got a defender to drop and this is absolutely perfect for that.
