This looks great, and thanks for your hard work. I was wondering - if I wanted to make some kind of global damage override mod, do you have any advice on where to start? Is there some sort of existing mod I could rewire? I've just been playing through Pre-Sequel and the bullet sponginess is getting real frustrating. Would it be possible to make a mod that just makes everyone take more damage, the player included?
looks nifty, no idea why the recharge rate and capacity for maylay shields were buffed in the notes but the recharge delay wasnt touched(lengthen) ?????/. isnt the idea to have the sheild easily get broken and stay broken to recieve the melee buff ?
While mod is fun i find the save system problem annoying and unnecessary to the point i revert back to vanilla (after just 1 playthrough) so i can use gibbed save edit in my next playthroughs and experiment with game etc. The inventory editor while i can run it is completely broken and not working more times that it do often locking the game to the point you have to close it with task menager. Not to mention how is terribly limited compared to gibbet tool Would be so much easier if this mod used standard save system. But sadly the most important mod killer for my is no coop support.
All of the stuff you wish for is currently impossible to do with the current modding tools. Coop not working is not the mods issue, but rather a PythonSDK issue. Anything that includes constructing additional objects out of thin air will not work in multiplayer. Same goes for the custom save system. How else do you expect us to save the custom parts if we are not able to cook them in the game files? The custom save file is absolutely NECESSARY for the new stuff to work. No other way around it.
thanks for the mod but i have got some issues first of all oxygen bar dissappeared and i cant use the oxygen tubes.as soon as i enter an area my health start to descreases.And lastly, smashing key "c" and accelaration key "space" doesnt work when i jump. By the way, i just installed sweetfx,nothing more.
Interesting. Disabling Exodus then going to the Holodome seemed to work, but going to the Holodome for the first time with Exodus enabled crashes the game.
What does "You can set your default save to read only. Exodus save file will still save the items." mean?
I've completed the story on UVHM at level 56 and increasing want specific legendries for my build. E.g. I particularly like the Flayer on Jack. I am perfectly willing to 1) get myself a purple shotgun, 2) farm up two Fatale's and 3) run read only grinds until I get one. But, I ain't gonna do steps 1 and 2 over and over again to get one shot at it. If I can't figure out a way to do this I guess I'll have to bail on the mod however many hours into it.
(Note: Doesn't mean I don't appreciate your effort!).
The game still saves your progress, currency and your vanilla items by using a default save file. However, the new stuff using a pythonSDK and ExodusSDK are constructed during the game session (obviously they do not exist in the game files) and we use our own save file system to save the custom parts. I quess, quit without saving read only farming would still work.
Hi there, I am glad that you are enjoying the mod :). The Gibbed does not work because we use the custom developed save file system which saves the new constructed parts. You can use Inventory Editor | PythonSDK Mod Database (bl-sdk.github.io) instead. Be sure to install all the requirements as well.
Thank you for suggesting "Inventory Editor". Unfortunately almost all the weapons are listed as "INVALID" and could not be modified for the game. Exodus (SDK) generates a "Savexxxx.json listing all the gear; can that be changed to accept updated levels?
Downloaded everything as needed and correctly but have an issue where in the mods folders inside the game the mod does not appear to enable it? saw someone else had this issue any fixes or work arounds?

Does this mod intentionally prevent Gibbs from leveling gear? If so, can that be worked around?
