Does anyone know of a mod that removes the blur but without changing the colors like this or all the mods of this style? I don't understand why they ruin the game like this by changing the original colors, I just want it not to look blurry.
Not sure specifically but be sure to turn off the in game settings for DoF and Bloom. I've seen both of those settings auto enable after restarting the game or after changing other settings. They seem to return to default, same for the Res/Hz setting. I'll never understand why devs combine these. I've asked around but never received an actual answer on that one.
Installed with latest version of Reshade and works/looks great. Remember to not be running any driver effects for AA or AF, that'll cause all sorts of stuttering.
Tried pretty much every Reshade on the site for GOTY Enhanced Edition and this one is my favorite: Brighter colors but not over saturated SMAA sharpens the jaggies. Disabling DoF and Bloom helps with most of the blurriness but this doesn't seem to have added any extra blurriness. I would def suggest disabling those 2 settings ingame.
I'm getting a General protection fault error, and changing dxgi to d3d11 just gave me a different general protection fault error. I tried clearing the game with the firewall and nothing, also made sure the game wasn't running on integrated graphics but still I'm getting the same error. Does anyone here got any solutions?
EDIT: Found the issue, I had hardware accelerated GPU scheduling on. For anyone else the setting is under system, display, graphics settings.
I'm loving this reshade. It's one of the better ones for this game, if not THE BEST. If done correctly, it won't break your game. Always keep your Graphics Drivers and Reshade updated.
This broke my game, I am constantly getting the general protection fault even though I have completely reinstalled the game twice. I've verified game files and everything else I can think of as well.
If anyone has a fix that would be awesome but as of now Im just f***ed
EDIT: i just removed every file relating to the game from my SSD and reinstalled, game works now. I've given up on the mod until the game works since even before this i was having issues.
So weird, i could NEVER get reshade to work on Borderlands 2, renaming dxgi never worked either, however on this one it worked the first time. Something's up with Borderlands games and reshade, it doesn't like it.
I am not getting a box to pop up in Installation step 5a.
1. Download reshade from https://reshade.me/ 2. Place the Reshade Setup in the same folder as the games exe (>SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\BorderlandsGOTYEnhanced\Binaries\Win64) and run it (May have to run as admin) 3. Select the games .exe 4. Select the Directx 10+ 5a. A box will pop up, Select Yes to download

Anyway, thanks dude, I think it's perfect!
