I got the modding to work on linux by adding B3HM.exe as a non steam game and set it to run under the same proton version as BL3, for me this is Proton-5.21-GE-, and then I added all the plugin injection stuff, so when i next ran bl3 it opened the B3HM.exe in wine and i used that to get to the webpage and it just worked!!

Sorry for the long absence everyone!

I've been way too busy with work and RL in the past two years, so I did not really have the energy or motivation to work in an update.

But I've now release Version 1.02, which seems to get everything up and running again.

Do note that antivirus software still might flag the files as malicious.
This is most likely due to the DLL and EXE being compressed by using UPX.

The reduced filesize just makes it easier to send testversion and such via Discord.

NOTE: Apparently Riots AntiCheat "Vanguard" can cause issues by preventing B3HM from accessing the games memory. Thanks to DLTAZwerg for figuring that out!

      Use Openhotfixloader instead.

I have it working with gamepass, but only some of the hotfixes work…sometimes. I’m not sure what the issue there is, but the receive items doesn’t seem to work at all for me. Only had it for about 24 hours though.

Basically you just install as you would with the video guide, but put the files into the GDK folder instead of Win64. Links just fine and hasn’t given me errors, but it’s kind of…testy(?) for lack of a better term. It clearly wasn’t made for this version.

*Side note: make sure you have all files/hidden enabled otherwise you may not have full access to the XboxGames folder system.

Just as a heads up, I found it can't find a connection to the game if I open via Brave browser. It works in edge with the same extensions etc. Just in case someone is wracking their head on getting it to work.

That is nonsense.  Its user Web interface is completely separate from the man-in-the-middle proxy process that it uses to intercept and alter the game's hotfixes.  It's not even necessary to have its UI open in a Web browser for it to successfully proxy those hotfixes.  You have incorrectly identified the cause of a problem and are now misleading others.

Brave wasn't working but it works on Edge. So this isn't nonsense at all.

You are misleading others, Brave doesnt support B3HM, Edge does, atleast test things out before saying anything.

    Hi!

I’ve encountered an issue with disappearing subtitles in Borderlands 3. The problem occurs after cutscenes, where the subtitles just freeze on the last line. Interestingly, the story subtitles work fine during quests. I saw that you are developing mods for the game and wanted to know if you might have the ability to fix or adjust the subtitle display issue.

    Thank you in advance!

Any way to make it work on gamepass version? Since the process from gamepass isn't called "Borderlands3.exe" it doesn't recognize that its running..

The Game Pass version of Borderlands 3 utilizes Microsoft's Game Development Kit (GDK), which restricts access to certain game files and directories. This limitation makes it challenging to use custom hotfixes or modding tools like OpenHotfixLoader (OHL) or Borderlands 3 Hotfix Merger (B3HM) with the Game Pass version. These were designed for versions of the game that allow easier access to game files, such as those from Steam or Epic Games.

If you're on firefox and having trouble getting the webui to work then try disabling ublock or allow the blocked localhost IP to run in the "My rules" tab in ublock's dashboard.
