Just run it like a .txt mod. From the console.

i think im just to dumb to figure it out, im completely new to the modding scene and it might just be to far out of my comprehension for now.

If you are using other mods with Strife, something could be overwriting it. Either execute him last, or make a single mod file and put him at the bottom of the file.

    [SPOILER]

So, been playing Strife a while and still haven't seen Nox. Is it a % drop rate from the dumpsters?

Also, any chance of other character reworks along the line in Strife?

iirc nox is a reward from that one quest when you defend that one hyperion cache.

First off, very interesting and pretty well made mod.
I have a complaint, that will not apply to most people. I will say first that I think you have created an interesting and fun skill tree. However, this character is *NOT* meant to be taken into OP levels. He's really really underperforming relative to normal zero even without snipers in OP levels. Definitely meant for non OP and very weak in OP. Overall I would say this is a result of vastly reduced offensive capabilities and even then, reliance on corrosion or melee. IDK. I will try again, but overall he looked like a mishmash of abusing launchers from deception and bee shield reliance with other guns. It's possible I made an oversight, but I tried numerous builds and even just mobbing was substantially more difficult than on Zero. I should also say, I am playing with Exodus, which actually nerfs the OP levels and slag, which should make Strife even more viable in OP but it didn't seem to be enough.

TL;DR: I wouldn't use strife on OP levels. very cool outside of there

Thats the problem with alot of ppl's new characters that they make or character changes they present. They are usually s#*! in end game lol. Thanks for the post tho i wouldve been mad if i got all the way to max lvl just to realize the character is underpowered

Maybe you don't know how to build it properly? It literally has a whole tree dedicated to Hyperion. Slap on a Bee shield, grab a Hyperion gun and stack those crits. There is your OP viability if you really want to go for it.
But I can assure you that his corrosive build is as equally viable, wink wink

I'm not quite sure the corrosive tree is as good as you think it is. Even if you had 11 ranks in corrosive bite, you're competing with the intrinsically lower damage of corrode in THM and UVHM of 60% vs flesh and 40% versus shields, the most common types of damage, makes corrosive just non-competitive as an elemental damage type. I really think the corrosive bonuses needed to be substantially higher to be worth investing into.

Strife does seem on the weaker side, but his access to life leech, as well as his major bonuses to amp damage and easy health gate abuse from his action skill can't be overstated. You can also with one class mod reduce elemental effect duration on you by 100%, which makes Strife essentially DOT immune, massively increasing his survivability and making health gate abuse even easier.

But corrosion? That tree isn't good enough. Am I missing some super secret synergy?

I should've tried Strife sooner! Now he seems broken. The skills and textures don't seem to function- but some of the name replacements still work.
Edit: It seems it was because SHiFT is offline for BL2 at the moment. When it is, lots of stuff doesn't work- unless you check "Offline" in BLCMM at the bottom before saving a patch.

I assume this no longer works after the newest update? Any chance of it being updated friend?

Hi there, Can't seem to get this to work. I've extracted from the .rar with winrar, imported in BLCMM (im assuming theres only one way to import) and then disabled everything *concerning zer0* from the community patch and BL2reborn.

Any help would be very appreciated, i've played as all 6 characters at least through the full main campaign and the dlc's as most, and am looking for something (anything really) new

I think it would be the best for you to join our modding discord (link is in the description), then I will be able to help you out (ping me there).

You need to unpack the mod. Then import to BLCMM.

tell me if im wrong here this is basically just a skill tree rework in which case saying first fully fleshed out wouldn't be correct as there is elemental Banshee and that Axton class Rework as well

Strife was finished long before Elementa Banshee and Axton were released. My hiatus from modding is what delayed it.

Other than that Strife haves all skills touched, background story, ALL new Class Mods, Class, Customization is changed, unique gun, where others come nowhere close to what I've done with Strife. That's what "fully fleshed out" means. Don't get me wrong, this is not bragging, I'm just saying there is a huge difference.

Having those BL2 mods available here is awesome! Way more convenient than browsing Github and guessing what the individual mods actually do. Keep it up!
