If you experience any issues, try the following steps first:
1) Make sure you use the latest version (1.38) of the Multitool 2) Disable any Antivirus temporarily (especially third party ones like Avast) 3) Verify your gamefiles via steam (also try to delete the games exe before doing this to make sure you get a new one) 4) If you receive a message with "catastrophic failure", you're most likely trying to open a shortcut instead of the games exe directly 5) If you see a bunch of messages when trying to apply changes, you probably used an outdated version of the Multitool before, without verifying your files again. Refer to #1 and #3 above.
Hello When I am adjusting the max inventory and eridium it says the patch was applied but when I go into the game and exec the patch it tells me the UCP is running but none of my changes have taken affect?
I used your "BETA" tool on github. (https://c0dycode.github.io/Borderlands-Hex-Multitool/) and wanted to report that it worked perfectly.
I just bought Borderlands 2 this morning and realized the sensitivity was obnoxious, and wanted a solution. This isn't a solution, but a workaround, and I think it is great. Thank you for providing your time and effort and creating this tool for us.
1. I modified my "DefaultInput.ini" which is located here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\WillowGame\Config" - note that your location would be different if you have Steam installed somewhere else. I added the following: [Engine.Console] ConsoleKey=Tilde 2. I then modified the "WillowInput.ini" file which is located in your My Games folder. For me, it was here: "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Borderlands 2\WillowGame\Config". As you can see, I use OneDrive and if you don't your path will be different. I added the following: [Engine.Console] ConsoleKey=Tilde 3. I then went to the "BETA" tool which is described in the description page of this NexusMod page, but I also added the link above. I chose my Borderlands 2 executable, I clicked save, (mind you I also checked "Enable Console Commands" though it is clearly stated this won't work lol), then copied the new executable into my Borderlands 2 folder. 4. Every time I open Borderlands 2, I open console with the Tilde key, and then I type in the following: set Engine.PlayerInput MouseSensitivity 5 This sets my sensitivity to 5, and this is now reflected in the My Games ini files. Take note that this resets every time you go into your settings or restart the game.
I find this to be a wonderful workaround because it takes all of about 2 minutes to setup and you're simply typing in a command each time you load in. I don't need any apps. EZ PZ
Big thanks again to the creator of this tool. I was excited to play Borderlands 2 after getting it on super sale. Thanks again friend!
According to the readme text file, you don't need to put it anywhere.
# Installation
This new version of the Multitool does not have to be in a specific place.
NOTE: If you have used any standalone tools that are outdated, such as "Backpack-Customizer" or old Multitools (if your tool has the "Backpack Testpatch" you should be fine), you may want to consider either reverting these patches with these tools, or redownload the games exe via steam (only BL2) to avoid possible issues.
i have the latest version of this tool when i click apply it tells me its applied but then when i load up the game none of the patches has been applied and if you have to execute on the menu on the console i have tried that too and still does not work. what am i missing?
Hello, I have a question, because I was trying to figure out how to increase the space in the bank, and I found by some miracle this program, but now does not the game accept the limit in the bank over 42 ? because I bet there is such a limit is there

Also, does this Mod still work? I see a lot of Comments telling of Errors and what not.
