Once I have installed the mod via the BLCMM, how do I activate/find the weapons, etc. in the game? I appreciate any genuine help that anyone can give me.
Been a long time since I used BLCMM myself, would recommend a tutorial on Youtube if you haven't done so already. This one might work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOXvKGDp4Bk
There's a typo, find this line: <code profiles="default">set GD_Weap_SMG.Barrel.SMG_Barrel_Bandit_BoneShredder rarity (BaseValueConstant=-1.000000,BaseValueAttribute=None,InitializationDefinition=None,BaseValueScaleConstant=1.000000)</code></code> And remove the extra "</code>" at the end of it. Or just redownload the fixed file.
If I ever regain interest in modding BL2, then yes, I probably would. But I don't see that happening in the near future. As long as someone gives me credit, I don't mind them "porting" my mods to SDK.
It isn't. The Sand Hawk's shots are made of multiple different firing modes in order to move up and down at different speeds. I needed all of those firing modes to make each part of the Chroma a different element.

(says "it can't be parsed")
Can this be made into SDK non-replacing version to add new guns instead of replacing it?
