Drag and drop your files out of the zip folder into this numbered folder, check to see if it works by launching the game after. SaveData is not located via the normal game directory through Steam or Epic, for me, it's located through this root ^
Having an issue with the story missions not progressing, every time I load back into the game it starts at the very beginning and story missions are reset (my first gun quest)? Note I am playing on BL2 VR, everything else works absolutely fine.
Correction, the story missions are progressing (getting the message "would you like to skip mission etc) which occurs when I open the cabinet for the first gun.. no matter how far I progress the story, the game always loads into the very first scene in the snow when claptrap hands you the echo etc and have to go from there to fast travel, essentially have to repeat the first mission over and over.
If any mod for any game doesn't specifically say it's compatible with VR, you should assume that it's not compatible with VR. Any VR game title is an entirely separate game unless the VR is from a mod, and even then, expect compatibility issues.
I can't complete the mission "Shielded Favors" because it requires you to buy a shield, but my inventory is filled with weapons, etc.. Is there a way to move past this, or is it something I'll have to come back to later?
There are a few options available for this. You could delete most of the items with the gibbed save editor or sell them in-game, or you could use the hex tool to change the backpack size. Using the hex tool to change the backpack size is semi-limited to 255, but you can unlock it to raise it to much higher. (It's a number with a bunch of nines, I can't remember how many digits, but it's way higher.) WARNING: raising this can cause a glitch where scrolling down stops working, but if you just keep scrolling, eventually it will start to go down again. It also makes it so that unequipping any item (swapping is fine) can take way more time if you have a lot of items because you have to scroll past them to get to the empty slots to put away the item.
does this work on handsome collection through steam on pc? im trying to load in sav file, but the directory is different. i cant save my character, does that bypass the sav file? could you help me out, steer me in the right direction please. at this point id pay someone to boost and drop weapons for all the time ive spent trying to figure this out...lol thanks

Not sure if you fixed this yet but you have to play the game and make a character first before the save section will appear. If that is not the issue then I have no clue honestly. Usually, the game saves are in the same place no matter what platform you use. If this is Epic Games then I haven't used it yet to determine it to be different.
Super late here, but I think it's important to note that the Handsome Collection includes all BUT ONE DLC, and that one DLC is Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary, which is necesary to raise the level cap from 72 to 80, and the OP level cap to 10 (I don't know the value without.) This really should be in the description in big letters because it's easy to miss. That DLC was made after the Handsome Collection, so it wasn't included. (Technically it also doesn't include the UHD DLC or the Season Pass for Borderlands 2 or Borderlands Pre-Sequel, but the season pass is redundant, and the UHD DLC is free.)

Never mind, you included a read me.maybe this will help. borderlands2/willowgame/"here there is no saved data" i have 5 folders, none of them offer a saved data, or even anything close. hope you can help
