I absolutely love this mod! Makes you play the game more tactically, immersing you in the world a lot more. My only gripe is that framerates can struggle with all the item drops on larger maps, and my monkey brain can't stop looking at all the loot. Would there be a way to have drop chances, instead of everything guaranteed?
Unless I'm getting extremely unlucky this seems to be at odds with the Dedicated Drops mod. I've killed Nine-toes, Pinky and Digit like 10 times and they never drop their legendary.
Wait, so this mod actually makes the game harder? I've been wanting to play a harder and more balanced overall version of BL1 for YEARS! The original is just too easy compared to BL2, for example. Bug fixes would also be amazing. Oh, and also a FOV slider is obviously mandatory. I see that you update several of your mods constantly. I want to play this game with 3 friends of mine. 2 of us play BL1 since 2009..but we didn't play this game since ages ago. What combination and/or configuration do you recommend for us, based on your mods or even other mods? Vanilla but harder, FOV slider, bug fixes, maybe just a bit of non-vanilla features, if they help the game..
I didn't change the balancing or anything, but just by having 'real' gear, enemies will have an easier time killing you. As for multiplayer, it should be noted that no one has really tried it with these mods. I know maps are janky and don't change states (Doors won't open, for example) for joining players, which will probably cause problems with Flynt.
Mods I'd recommend are FOV, unofficial patch, DLC fast travel, and maybe map improvements.
So this four mods only? for multiplayer? And no actual way to make the game at least a bit harder, right? At least not in MP (without this mod, legit gear only, I mean).
Those mods are what I use for Vanilla+, but you can use others if you want. I don't know of any mods to make the game harder, but I think Sleepmaster was working on a rebalance mod that may make the game more difficult. I'm not sure when/if it'll be out, though.
So normal GOTY version with those 4 mods would work in multiplayer..what about your rocket launcher mod? That also seems like it could work :D And it seems like a normal addition to the game.
For most mods, it's drag-and-drop unless stated otherwise. If a mod has a folder named 'CookedPC', it should be placed in [your steam library]\Borderlands\WillowGame. For mods that have a WillowGame or Binaries folder, they should be placed in [your steam library]\Borderlands.

Edit: Disregard this. I guess I was just unlucky.
Thanks!
