Furthermore, Shadow Pea is in a weird position so the firing rate and damage is being buffed through all Levels."

"The addition of the Electrici-tea variant has power crept a lot of the other Plants that didn't have variants, so the price is being increased slightly (while also fixing a bug with his lightning aura). Thunderstorm is very versatile in terms of overall power so the extra pierce of its base lightning attacks is being ditched, and slightly increasing the price of the Incandescence upgrade as it made certain synergies with plants like Spikeweed incredibly good."

Spore-shroom was too cost-efficient so another price hike is needed. Spore Sprayer continues to be a strong, efficient ability so it gets hiked in price again, same for its Nightcap variant which ended up deleting every bloon with one ability."

Sun Bean, Solar Tomato, Powered Sun Bean and Solar Sage can be used in Sandbox through the Track category in Powers.
Power-Mints are now swapped into the Bloon category, which is designed for powerful buffing powers.
- Intensive Carrot and Tile Turnip will also be in this category, since they're super-powerful buffers.
Hybrid powers are moved into the Track category.

Also comes with some difficulties as well (Beta). For newer players coming to PvB, we've reworked the A.I opponent in there to make it more intense and also grant access to exclusive plants.

"Nightshade has always been the weakest Plant ever since release. He did get better in some updates, but that wasn't enough. Increasing his base attack damage and the damage upgrades' effectivity will allow Nightshade to pop down Ceramic Bloons much easier, so as dealing significantly more damage to MOAB class bloons."
Starfruit:
- 0-0 Base: attack cooldown time reduced from 1.5s -> 1.4s
"Starfruit has been one of the more weaker Plants since the other plants has received upgrade variants, which also helps them a lot lategame. Even though he's good early game, we've decided to reduce his CD time slightly which will allow him to fire stars slightly quicker to help carry towards the later upgrades, whilst benefiting the Powerful Stars upgrade significantly more for mid game defence."
Puff-shroom:
- 0-0 Base: price increased from $50 -> $75
- 2-x Piercing Spores: price increased from $60 -> $75
- 3-x Poisonous Spores: poison duration reduced from 5s -> 3s (carries over to the Ability as well for that affected 3-x Puffshroom!)

"Puff-shroom was one of the strongest Plants for every portion of the game. His true potential to delete rushes with the Poisonous Spores upgrade was unparalelled. Increasing the prices including his base cost will encourage other early game starters such as Starfruit and Cactus to be used, whilst tuning the poison duration down as well as making it not affect Ceramic Bloons. Nightcap was still one of the best PvZ Heroes variant plants for a decent amount of time, as we're nerfing his Spore residue status yet again and slightly reworking and fixing his main attack. Lastly, Nightcap's power spore attack stats got a switcheroo to compensate for the new Bubble-shroom for Plant Card Battles."
Spikeweed:

"Spikeweed has always been the best starting plant in all of Plants vs. Bloons. He's just always really strong on maps with multiple intersections, but what made him easily oppressive was you could defend any mid-game rush for such a cheap defence, which Spikeweed did deliver. Reworking him is a step in the right direction for us by giving him more ATK speed for less damage, which also applies to Iceweed as well to help against faster Bloons and his left path upgrades got nerfed to compensate for the attack reworks. Iceweed got price buffs to make up for Spikerock's and Molten Spikerock's price nerfs. His Ability was also strong, so removing his bonus main attack damage will make it less reliable."
Fume-shroom:
- 0-0 Base: fume pierce reduced from 500 -> 200
- 5/6/7-x Gloom-shroom: fume pierce reduced from 200 -> 100
- x-4 Fume Balloon: can now manually aim at the Bloons whilst ability is active at a maximum targeting distance of 300

"Fume-shroom was still a really strong Plant even with the previous nerfs. While he's not just a super oppressive as Puff-shroom is overall, Gloom-shroom is what made him super oppressive after the damage buff. Reducing the pierce further might make it susceptible to a super large bloon rush, whilst making his Ability manually aim at the Bloons but a price increase to compensate because it wasn't good compared to most Plants' abilities."
Mini Peashooter:
- 0-0 Base: can no longer be planted for free, instead it adducts cash when placed down
- 0-0 Base: attack speed reduced from 3s -> 1.75s
"This has always been a problem since when Mini Peashooter was first introduced for Sunflower's kit as an alternative to Puffshrooms. This is mostly a fix to the past issues, hopefully it can well-compete with the newly nerfed Puffshroom and we've reverted most of his ATK speed back to normal! :)"
Rotobaga:
- 0-0 Base: pursuit flight mode is now baseline
- 3-x Homing Rutabagas: burn ticc rate reduced from 1s -> 0.75s
- 4-x Combat Rotobaga: burn duration increased from 4s -> 5s

"Rotobaga is at an okay spot in the meta, but she still struggled to compete against the other stronger Plants in the current meta. Adding Pursuit flight targeting at baseline is something we want to do to add some more strategy when using the Rotobaga, and we've buffed the burn damage and duration for the 3-x and 4-x upgrades to encourage more usage for overall defence. Super Rutabagas' burning power is weak, so increasing it significantly and making it affect MOAB class bloons will help seal the deal for Rotobaga's overall kit."
Melon-pult:
- 1-x Faster Melons: price reduced from $150 -> $135

"The previous nerfs did Melon dirty. Reverting some of the price nerfs by a fair bit whilst reducing the earlier upgrades' prices should make it slightly more efficient to set up a good Melon-pult defence."
Cactus:
- x-4 Electric-powered Cactus: can now fully power up Prickly Edges attack
"We actually liked the new Cactus ability rework to build different strategies involving the Cactus for the early/mid game. However, the permanence didn't apply to Cactus's Prickly Edges close-range attack, so giving that change will make it more like the pre-rework ability which did affect her Pedges attack."
Bubble-shroom:
- 1-x/2-x/x-3: now has the same benefits as Puff-shroom
"We're happy to release the Bubble-shroom fully playable in Card Battles, because he was only seen if Puff-shroom's upgrade variants were acquired. Adding crosspath benefits from the parent Plant (Puffshroom) will make it a lot more interesting of a Plant, even though the x-2 upgrade will do nothing because he already has base camo detection."
Spamton NEO Boss Fight:
- Increased SNEO's movement speed by 333%
- Now has 5 reverted rainbow bloons and 10 purple bloons on destroy
"Spamton NEO boss was too weak overall because of the previous long-form changes to the mode. Boosting Spamton significantly by his movement speed and giving him child Bloons on death will hopefully add more strategy while making shorter maps much more difficult."
---Bug Fixes---
Fixed an issue where the higher levels on the Spore-shroom would not spawn higher level Bubbleshrooms. Bubble-shrooms spawned from Spore-shroom will now properly use the current upgrade tier which the Spore-shroom is already on.
Fixed an issue which caused the x-4 Draftodil ability to blow Spamton NEO back to the start.

"Peashooter has been in the meta for a while mainly because of his Goo Peashooter upgrade. While it's super oppressive at blooncinerating a MOAB rush because of its slows and its toxicity/pertinacity overall. Reducing the slowdown's effectiveness on Goo Pea's peas should balance it out. Green Shadow's previous price nerf was unintended, so we're reverting it back to the usual amount, whilst for Shadow Pea it wasn't worth getting him up after Lvl3 Goo Pea so we're shifting the damage values up for all levels."
Kernel-pult:
- 4-x Butter Is Inevitable: butter MOAB stun duration reduced from 1.5s -> 1.33s
- 4-x Butter is Inevitable: butter BFB stun duration reduced from 0.75s -> 0.66s
"Kernel-pult has been exceptionally good in the meta mainly because of his Ability. Other than his Ability, his ability to stall MOABs & BFBs excessively with the 4-x upgrade is still unparalleled. Reducing the stun further should bring in line with other support options like Draftodil that can handle MOABs & BFBs."
Puff-shroom:
- 6-x Spore-Shroom Level II: Newly spawned Bubble-shrooms now get +3 more pierce
- 7-x Spore-Shroom Level III: Newly spawned Bubble-shrooms now do +1 more damage
- x-5 Nightcap: spore residue count reduced from 8 -> 6. However, bubble spores and normal spores will no longer appear from created residues from popped Bloons now.
"Puff-shroom is still a polarizing Plant in the meta and the new Spore-shroom didn't make him too game-breaking as we thought. The level ramping for Sporeshrooms were too weak, so we're boosting the Bubble-shrooms it spawns out at higher levels. Nightcap was still too strong so we reduced the amount of spores it creates per residue from popped Bloons."
Fume-shroom:
- 5/6/7-x Gloom-Shroom: fume pierce reduced from 500 -> 200

"Mini-Nuke cabbs was really OP after the rework, so we're tuning the damage down further. The new upgrade plant had issues against faster Bloons, so we're making the radiation effect slightly quicker to help catch them off-guard on some more maps."

"Guacodile hasn't shown some love in the meta for such a long time, so we're giving him a small boost to all his T4 upgrades to encourage more usage in water maps such as Water Hazard."

"Despite the previous nerfs, Puff-shroom continued to be the best Plant in the game mainly due to his Nightcap upgrade being too broken mechanically. Increasing the price will make it a bit harder to get Nightcap up, whilst making the spore residue less reliable and broken as well as reducing the ability's overall power to make it a bit more balanced in general."
Cattail:
- x-4 Meow Laser: ability is cancelled when Cattail is sold during mid-ability
"Cattail is a fun water plant to use, but when it comes down to higher level gameplay, she heavily relies on her Meow Laser ability to shred Bloons with real ease. This change will make microing the ability a bit harder overall, whilst also keeping Cattail as a balanced plant in general and making the ability less oppressive."
Spikeweed:
- x-4 Get Over Here!: ability damage reduced from 2 -> 1 & no longer does bonus damage to MOABs
"Spikeweed's ability heavily relies on pulling Bloons in front of it so that other Plants can help burst down the affected Bloons, but in higher level gameplay it was really strong considering you can sell it during mid-ability and then it just deletes a whole rush. Making it do significantly less damage whilst sold midability should balance this out and MOABs shouldn't be able to get two-tapped by two Spikeweed abilities."
Fume-Shroom:
- 5-x Gloom-Shroom: damage increased from 2 -> 3 (also applies to other upgrades of it, +50% more damage in total)
- 5-x Gloom-Shroom: price increased from $3.25k -> $3.5k

"While the 4-x upgrade on the Fumeshroom is fantastically good in popping Bloons and MOAB class, the first 2 levels of Gloom-Shroom were more of a downgrade to the 4-x overall. Increasing the damage throughout all levels will make it a viable option, whilst increasing the price to compensate for the damage buff."
Bonk Choy:
- 4-x Combative Punching: price increased from $10k -> $10.5k
- x-4 Punch Maniac: ability is cancelled once Bonk Choy is sold during mid-ability
"Even after the previous metas, Bonk Choy is still an annoying plant to face off against in certain compositions. While his Ability may be pretty oppressive for what it does, giving it the change just like Cattail will affect the playstyle of microing abilities significantly, and increasing the price on his 4-x upgrade will not only make it slightly harder to get Rhubarbarian up, but also make it slightly more difficult to get up considering how strong it was with the uppercut daze mechanic."
Cabbage-Pult:
- 4-x Mini-Nuke Cabbages: price reduced from $18.5k -> $9.25k
- 4-x Mini-Nuke Cabbages: -50% damage
"We did this change to not only make it easier to get the upgrade, but also for the new Pepper-Pult upgrade as well. It's damage was halved to compensate for the new changes."
Cactus:
- x-4 Electric-powered Cactus: ability reworked for giving a damage/pierce boost for 12 seconds to giving Cactus a permanent form when used which doubles her attack damage and pierce and popping Lead Bloons, afterwards her Ability will allow her to fire a superthorn which deals 100 damage and has 100 pierce
- 4-4 Unavoidable-powered Thorns: new ability will permanently triple her attack damage and superthorn damage and pierce is increased to 250
"Cactus hasn't really been meta for such a long time mainly because of how weak she is vs. MOAB class bloons. But, we're reworking her ability that was meant to be in the first place when PvB was going to come out so that she can be in par with other plants during the midgame. This will also change the Hybrid form as well in Card Battles (4-4) so that she can have a better time at popping Bloons."
Mini Peashooter:
- x-2 Awesome Eyesight: price reduced from $70 -> $60

"Since the 10.0 update where Torchwood got removed from the game, it literally killed off the right path upgrades for the Mini Peashooter considering how weak it was without the Torchwood buffs. While the 5-x upgrade is the best but the most expensive upgrade in the game for the Mini Peashooter for Bananza specifically, reducing the prices of the right path upgrades will make it a bit easier to get them up efficiently."
Snow Peashooter:
- x-4 Machine Gun Snow Peashooter: ability can manually aim at the Bloons whilst it's active
- x-4 Machine Gun Snow Peashooter: both snow peas and the blizzard are fired out simultaneously whilst ability is active
"Snow Pea hasn't received any changes for a while mainly for his Activated Ability. We've added the ability for his MGSP activated ability to aim at the Bloons when it's active, and can prioritize with targeting modes as well. Also too it's firing sequence got changed slightly to help when it's constantly chasing against faster Bloons."
Peanut:
- x-4 Machine Gun Peanut: ability can manually aim at the Bloons whilst it's active
- x-4 Machine Gun Peanut: ability duration reduced from 3.5s -> 3s and fires peanuts much faster when active (still fires the same amount as before!)
- 4-4 Vertidexterous MG Peanut: ability peanuts also grant +1 pierce and no longer increases the amount of peanuts it'll shoot out
"Just like Snow Peashooter, Peanut is receiving the same treatment for his Activated Ability. This will allow Peanut to prioritize with targeting modes when his Ability is active and also help prevent weaker Bloons from getting through the exit as we're changing it slightly in terms of firepower along with slightly reworking the Hybrid to make it somewhat intact and versatile."

Nightcap is a 5th Tier Puff-shroom which shoots out nauseous spores which not only causes massive damage but also spreads onto other Bloons and sends out colourful spores when a Bloon is popped.
Nightcap will also have a chance to spawn Bubble-shrooms on every fast-firing attack for the powerfulness! Bubbleshrooms are fast-firing Puffshrooms that can detect Camo and also remove Bloon properties on hit!
Missile Toe is a brand-new Winter-mint family Plant which is going to be available for a limited time for Card Battles and sends out powerful ice blasts at Bloons!

From the upcoming new BMC mod which is still PvB however, Red Stinger will be here to help you pop down some atrocious Bloons!
He is available in Card Battles and on the map "Zen Garden" as well with his attacking variants!
Red Stinger also has an upgrade variant called Purple Stinger, which he has significantly more HP and damage/pierce output for his defence/attacks.
Don't forget Sling Pea, an upgrade for the Threepeater after you've fully maxed out your Threepeater starting on the left path which sends out a pea barrage at Bloons from a long range!
Sling Pea also comes with some upgrades as well!
