Huh, this looks quite good, thank you. I wasn't even looking for a reshade or anything but the screenshots impressed me enough to give it a try. No regrets!
I noticed there are two exe files(in different folders) that both starts the game, but install to the directory described anyway(including the basic reshade) and it should work.
Hello, Does this work with the GOG version ? I have tried for hours to make it work but it seems not... I have no menu that indicate that Reshade has loaded when launching the game and the "Home" button do nothing. I have try to delete all Reshade related files and install it again, try with an older version of Reshade (4.5.1), try to run the game as administrator, but it did'nt work... The log file say "If you are reading this after launching the game at least once, it likely means ReShade was not loaded by the game." Does anyone have tested it successfully with the Last GOG update ? Thanks for your feedback Edit: Just to be sure, I have tested Reshade on another game, Bayonetta (Steam Version) and Reshade load successfully... So it seems that GOG version is not compatible ... ? Too bad... Edit 2: Ok it's my fault, files were installed on the wrong directory sorry for that ^^
Disabled overlay and renamed to d3d11 but still won't work with Steam Link. It stays on the Reshade/Game logo page but is still playable on my PC. Shame cause it looks good.
I followed the instructions you provided, also changed the dll because I use a controller, but I can't get the preset to look like your pictures. it seems to load but everything is blurry, there seems to be a very white film over everything making it hard to see, and it seems like the color doesn't match either. Also whenever i move my mouse it brings things in and out of focus and i couldn't find anything in the ReShade settings to get it to stop doing this. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. controller works fine tho. Edit: I'm playing the game through Origin, idk if that is causing any problems. i have the in game origin turned off
Solved: so deleted everything related to reshade in the game folder, redownloaded the file and went through the setup process again and it seems to work. Not sure what happened before but everything is good now.
Had another problem stumbled but this time it's ReShade. It seems you can't use its screenshot feature since this game is 10-bit. Upon opening d3d11.log, an error about "back buffer format 24." My workaround was really to install MSI Afterburner and play the game in Borderless Full Screen for the screenshot feature.
Anyway, kudos to your contribution, loving the game even more!
I've followed the instruction in the description, changed dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll. The game ran.
Bloodstained_ReShade.ini was identified so I didn't have to press the [+] and manually input it.
Problem is, my controller cannot be detected. Can you help me with this?
Turning off NumLock did not do anything, by the way.
Update: I can't seem to open Steam Big Picture mode while in-game (Shift+Tab) and using ReShade. When I remove the ReShade files, the controller works normally.
Update 2: Managed to fix it. Had to turn off Steam Overlay. No 2 overlays will work, didn't know that.
I'm sorry, I just seen your comment & I'm glad you got it working. I will put the inormation about the overlays in the description of the mod. Thank you for letting me know!
So when I added this, it completely ruined my controller configuration; it no longer detected the d-pad or right stick. I've used ReShades before, but only this one destroyed my controller scheme. Is there a solution to this, or is my case an isolated incident?
It didn't destroy your controller scheme. You need to rename the dxgi file to d3d11 it will fix your controller issue. The file is located in the same place you installed the mod. I even wrote that in the description of how to install the Preset.

The controller didn't work, changed the file name, but nothing.
I then disabled Steam overlay, (like you mentioned), and now the controller works.
Thanks so much. This is much more colorful.

The game crashes - fatal error.
