Not sure if this is gonna get updated, but suggestion. on the no items alt (where you do start with certain items) version, i would recommend some additional items to keep Boss shards (from one time bosses only) : this allows a player to max out their shard's grade with this mod, otherwise, it would be impossible. Discount card: i find this item ok to carry over cause its so expensive, and it would help a new game + run, especially early on. and that's about it. if more come to mind, i'll edit this post.
Hmm, I can see those, but at the same time it would disturb a bit of that feeling of starting mostly from scratch again. Granted a few of the things already on that list does also disturb that, but it would just feel so bad to not get to use the swordwhip/shard etc after finally getting it.
I'll keep it in mind whenever the next version comes out, and I'll have to update mods again, I usually do revisions at that time as well.
The file wasn't changed from 1.20 to 1.21, tested on both and works. Tested again just now for safety, and still works.
Remember to check for other mods that conflicts which file it edits. I always write which file my mods edit in the readme. If in doubt remove all other mods first and try. Then add mods back one by one until you find the problem.
I already tried loading the game with only this mod installed, (that was actually the very first thing I tried) and it still didn't work. I'm currently on version 1.21. Even went so far as to clear the last boss all over again with only this mod active and it still didn't work. If you say it works I have no reason to disbelieve you, so I can only assume my save must somehow be broken or corrupted.
Edit: Tried it again just to be sure. Had absolutely no mods loaded but this one, but it totally fails to work. NG+ is no different than vanilla. This applies to both the everything version and the alternate version.
Strange. Just for double safety went over and tested all 3 versions on clean install, and all worked for me. I use GOG version, but from what I've seen so far shouldn't make any differences from Steam. (Did get to confirm that the ng+ bug still exist in some form though).
Also, you should only need the mod at the moment you start ng+, so you can put the mod in, go into game, start the ng+, get to first save point and save, exit and remove mod if you want. No need to actually have it during final fight or such. Makes it pretty easy to test.
Update: I did a complete and utter fresh install and the mod suddenly works properly. I still have no idea what the problem was though because the install I had was only like a month old. Whatever, it works now and that's all that matters.
Edit: I think I've narrowed it down. Your mod seems to be incompatible in some way with max stack plus. Of course, I had tried to start the game with only your mod installed, but I was unknowingly foiled by a bug in Fluffy's mod manager. For some reason, flipping the mod on/off switch works on every mod except max stack plus. It would say the mod was disabled but the pak file was actually still there causing problems. Went in and deleted the pak file manually and everything works properly, even with all of the other mods installed.
