I'm not actually sure if this is working with 1.31 ...I tried using the 20% version and the 40% version, and there seemed to be an increase in item and shard drop rates BUT the drop tables don't show the boosted rates and while there *seems* to be an increase in drops it's not to the level it ought to be for items/shards with 25~50% drop rates so that might have just been RNG
Just in case, "Gleem Drop Rate Set" v1.02 works fine with Bloodstained ROTN v1.21 (for those still using the older version of the game because of the broken mods compatibility with the newer v1.30).
Curious if this will be updated? Was talking with someone using this mod and getting problems with Randomiser. Last update seems to be from somewhere between v1.10 and v1.15 and the file (DropRateMaster) has been modified since then.
Hmm, interesting. I haven't seen any bug reports (get notifications for those), so I was unaware. It's possible the file was changed when they added Classic mode. That'd be my guess. I know it added stages and such, so might have added something to the list. I'll test it out when I have time and see if I have any issues. I know the Randomizer itself won't interfere with it, 'cause I played a lot with the Randomzier when it came out, and it worked fine then.
Question: Does this mod break shards that should drop no matter what? I remember a similar droprate shard that broke the beginning encounter because the shard was no longer a 100% drop rate and it was required to progress.
This works perfectly for me. As the description says, by using a multiplier instead of a flat percent increase, rare items still feel rare, while cutting down on grinding for more common items and shards.
Makes all the difference when I'm playing randomized. Sometimes you just want to kick back and enjoy the pathing, rather than spending ages trying to get a few more drops so you can carry on with your run. This perfect for that.
Doesn't seem to add the right % to item drop rate considering I added 100% and the enemies don't even show an increased drop rate, shards have increased drop rates though.
There was an issue specifically with the 100% all droprates mod for certain droprates to not be adjusted. This has been fixed. If you're still running into the issue, let me know.
OK, seems "fixed" my particular issue seemed to stem from using two separate mods for shard and item drop rate, I went and used only the item drop rate and now they drop items more often, a bit inconvenient but at least it is still easy to get shards.
